Rupert's eyebrows shot up. "How close?" he asked.

"We're almost there!"

"Almost there?!?" Rupert shouted, surprising Charles. "You couldn't have bloody told me when it was in the distance so we could make an effing plan?!?" Charles gulped. "I already have a great plan! I'll crash-"

     "NO, CHARLES."

Bloody idiot, he added in his mind. "Oh." Charles sounded heartbroken. "I am out of plans..." "Of course you are," Rupert breathed, without pressing the radio button.

"Have you got any?" Charles questioned, his voice becoming strangely high-pitched.

"Not really." Rupert replied. "You always have the greatest plans." he added, half being sarcastic, and half genuinely trying to make him feel better.

"Aw, thank you!" Rupert smirked. Charles began to go on about Rupert's kindness and plans and airships, so Rupert started to zone out, letting his mind wander.

"R-Rupert?" Charles whimpered. Rupert shook himself back into reality and responded, "What?"

"There's- there's something coming towards you! From the sky!" he yelled, prominent fear in his voice.

Rupert looked up. Sure enough, something large and silver was shooting down towards them. The he**, Rupert thought. Peering up at the sky, he soon realized that it was a huge claw! He rammed his foot down and sped forward, trying to outrun it, but it was no use. It grabbed him off the ground, jostling him and making him drop his radio. He heard Charles screeching as it plummeted to the ground. He raised his rifle and shot at the claw, but it barely dented it.

Giving up, he let go of his gun and sat helplessly as he rose into the air. He turned to see the helicopter, Charles' face pressed up against the glass, screaming Rupert's name. He watched as he rose up, leaving Charles hundreds of feet below. Rupert looked up and realized where he was going.

"The Toppat Airship," he breathed, disgusted at the words. He finally got where he was (unwillingly) going, the back of the airship's hatch.

The claw pulled him in and slammed him down, wrenching him out of his seat and knocking him unconscious against the cold metal ground.
