Blurry Memories

Memory Eight: Hey there

Sakura, are you okay?" Daisy asked for the nth time the moment our first class ended.

" Yes, I'm really fine Daisy. Thank you for worrying but I'm really good, nothing to worry about, see?!" I said and danced silly infront of them–Daisy and Lily.

They asked me where was I yesterday since I didn't went back to the booth after I excused myself to the comfort room. I told them I wasn't feeling well and that I stayed in the clinic for the rest of the day.
They are both genuinely worried about me and I really appreciate that.

As usual, we went to the cafeteria and ate together, but when we were about to go and sit , we saw two guys sitting on our spot. We saw Rein and a guy–who I guess is his friend because they seem close. I was about to ask the girls to find another spot since someone's already occupying ours– and to avoid awkward situation between me and Rein not to mention I embarrassed myself infront of him, but Daisy is already walking towards them, I glanced at Lily and she seemed nervous for some reason, and I saw how her cheeks flushed.

"Lily, you okay?" I asked her since she doesn't look okay to me. She smiled and nodded so I nodded back, we followed Daisy– Lily following her  closely while I was keeping my distance– who's now almost reaching our spot. She stopped infront of the table and saw the how the guy– i –don't– know– who– stopped talking to Rein, and with wide smile– he's smiling to the point he's eyes are closed while looking at Daisy.

"Daisy! You're here! What took you so long?" the guy – i –don't–know–who suddenly said.

" Topher! Hi! Harvey, good morning!" Daisy greeted.

"Lily! good morning!" the guy Daisy referred to as Topher greeted Lily.

"Good morning Cris" Lily greeted back
"Harvey" he called Rein's name to catch his attention before finally saying good morning.

Chris or Topher– I'm sure his name is Christopher– looked at me and smiled.

"Good morning too!" which made Rein look up and stare at me. Ghad I want to disappear! I cleared my throat before greeting back.

"Good morning" I was shy to greet him but he is still looking at me so I tried to smile and greet him. He smiled a bit and greeted back.

"You okay now?" he silently asked while we're eating– he's on my left side, he's facing Lily, Daisy is facing Chris. 

I nodded and said yes loud enough for him to hear. I shifted my gaze to my right side to avoid his gaze but I was shocked when I saw Lily looking at me. I blinked couple of time before avoiding her gaze too but before I could do that she asked a question.

"You know each other?" she asked. Rein who was looking at me, turned his gaze to Lily.

"yes" "sort of" we both answered in unison.

"Yes?" she glanced at Rein then to me "Sort of?" she asked me again.

"Uhm, we met yesterday accidentally under some –not so great– circumstances and we happened to be neighbors." I answered carefully.

It is true that we met yesterday but I intend to leave the running while crying, and all the dramatic moments–embarrassing situation rather, that had happened yesterday.
