SAKURA
"Please treat your new classmate properly okay?...." our teacher said.
" ...now, please introduce yourself young lady" the she smiled.
" Uh, hi everyone. Call me Sakura for short, hope we can get along well" I said with a little smile then bowed.
Today is my first day of school. I'm a late enrollee, I didn't really expect that I'll be studying here in Japan since I didn't really expect to be here in the first place. My mommy wanted to be with me but since she got work to do. She convinced me to go with her. So since I also wanted to be with her, I agreed to stay here.So I'm now studying here and I don't know how long I'll get to stay and study here, mommy's work doesn't stay in a place for a long time, I'll sure we'll move to another place after her works done. Maybe a year or two? I don't know but yeah, as long as I'm with her.
"You can occupy any seats that's vacant Sakura" our teacher said so I occupied the 2nd to the last seat near the window, which is the opposite direction of the door. I only have 2 seatmates here because most of them occupied the front or the middle seats.
"Hi Sakura! I'm Daisy and this is Lily right here, it's nice to meet you!" she said smiling. Lily turned her head towards my direction and smiled.
"Hi Sakura, welcome to our School". I smiled too before saying " Hi Daisy, Lily, nice to meet you too and thank you"
"I hope we'll get along well!" Daisy excitedly said and the professor started talking so I wasn't able to respond so I smiled. Miss Yu started explaining and giving us the school and classroom rules, she also give us some information about the school and the needed things and stuffs for our subject and such.
My first day isn't that bad. It's far from what I imagined it would be. I thought I'd be having a hard time socializing with my new classmates because of course, they use different language -which they actually didn't- and I'm not much of a talker, a conversation engager or let's just say I don't know how to socialize.
There wasn't a language barrier between me and everyone here in the classroom and the whole school so I didn't have a hard time and I thank heavens for that.
After my classes, I packed my things to go home even though Daisy invited me over to her house but I kindly rejected.
While walking, I saw a shop, the outside design is kinda cute, it has pink stuffs, different shades of pink. I decided to stop by since it's too early to go home, and besides I'm gonna be bored in the house.
"Konichiwa" One of the shop's staff greeted me.
I just nodded and smiled. Well I kinda know basic Japanese words because I'm a fan of anime but the thing is, I kinda feel awkward speaking, or saying those words aloud of course given the fact that I might say something wrong and looked stupid so yeah.
I scanned the shop and it's full of colorful things. From the skyblue painted walls, pink tables and chairs for the cafe, to counters with different shades of pink and to the stuffed toys and cushions.
A cafe with a colorful, comfy, fluffy and relaxing vibe? Why not? I guess I found myself a hangout place.
I went to the counter and ordered.
"One Americano and uhm a slice of dark chocolate cake please" I said, but the staff in charge to take the orders in the counter didn't get anything of what I just said. I sighed, I guess I really need to learn in speaking in Japanese. Instead of trying hard speaking in Japanese I just pointed out my orders and be seated near the window.
While waiting for my order, I opened my phone and took a picture of the interior of the shop and the view from inside. Capturing the blooming cherry blossoms. After a while my order finally came and I was astonished by the food presentation. I mean like it's so cute~!
The cup being used is just a white cup with a polar bear design, and the chocolate cake it's a really cute grizzly bear I may add. Gosh! How can this shop make stuffs full of cuteness! Really! This is my kind of place! After admiring the cuteness of my food, I took a picture of it and I'll print it out later! I really need an instax with me.
After the cuteness overload cafe, I went home and went straight to the study room and printed the pictures I took earlier.
After printing the pictures, I went to my bedroom and stick the pictures in my bulletin board located above my headrest. It's a mocha colored one, with light pink, grey and black pins and couple of stickers. I want to kinda make a memory lane so I decided to put up a board.
My whole stay in Japan, I want it to be a memorable and unforgettable one though I only have 5 photos pinned. The ones I took yesterday when I went jogging by the beach and the pictures from today.
