When we arrived back home, Jubilea with us this time, I immediately decided to drop all plans for tonight and take him with Notch and me to our room. He needed someone to talk to, to cuddle now. If we leave him to his own now...
He might pull a stunt like Hero did.
And we don't need to cut him down from a rope either.
Notch rubbed over Jubileas' shoulder while I opened our bedroom door. He brought the realm inside and I closed the door behind us, making space on the bed. Notch put Jubilea onto the bed between us so we were all cuddling.
Jubilea whimpered weakly and hid in my chest, staying there. I caressed his hair gently, not letting him feel sad any longer. Notch cuddled him as well and we tried cheering him up.
Jubilea slowly started feeling better, closing his eyes a bit.
Once he was a bit calmer, we decided to talk things out with him.
"Jubilea... Who was that girl?", Notch asked. He sniffed a bit and dried his tears for like the 50th time, sighing tiredly. "Pietro's girlfriend. Or rather, Ex. She has a daughter and said daughter just recently died. So I helped her to get to her therapy and back. I'm not a cheater! I would never!", he explained, almost crying at the end again. I rubbed over his cheeks and dried his tears again. "Buddy, don't worry.", I calmed him down again. "Can you prove it?"
He looked at me with teary eyes before nodding. "I-I can call her and Pietro up and they can tell Xander the truth...?", he offered quietly. I nodded softly. "Yeah, that would be good.", I replied. He looked down, smiling very weakly. We went back to cuddling and getting calm again. It's been a few hours now and we started watching some sort of musical. Reddie said we should give it a try, and Jubilea had an idea where we can watch it.
The musical was called Hamilton.
We were at the point where Hami voted for Jeffy, so I glanced over to Notchy and Jubilea.
Notch was still awake, watching slightly surprised.
Jubilea however had put his head on my lap and was fully asleep now, snoring quietly. I smiled and ruffled his hair softly. He snuggled up to my hand and took it hostage by hugging it, using it as a pillow.
I gently smiled and pulled the blankets over him. He curled up a bit more, hiding in my hand.
Notch glanced over as I paused the musical so we can all watch it tomorrow. He smiled when he saw Jubilea, sleeping so peacefully. "How can Xander just leave someone so precious behind? He's adorable as hell and I can barely imagine him cheating on anyone.", he explained. Jubilea peacefully snored, enjoying my pets a lot. "Yeah, it's really weird...", I replied, noticing some bandages around his arms. I frowned, a bit confused and decided to check them out.
They covered up multiple deep wounds covering his lower arms, as well as two stitched wounds right over his arteries.
I know those wounds just too well, so I sighed and covered them up again.
"Let's sleep too, hunny.", Notchy told me. I nodded and lied down, pulling both of them close. Jub hid in my chest while Notch rested his head on my shoulder. I smiled, happy now.
Both of them were really cutter cute and I feel like I'm Jubileas' dad or something, it's frigging adorable!!!
I giggled at that thought and cuddled them both happily. I closed my eyes happily and soon fell asleep, Notch following moments later.I woke up on the next day to a nice breakfast for us all and a missing Jubilea. I immediately shot up and looked for him. Notch woke up too, confused because I was so troubled. Soon enough he noticed Jubileas' missing presence too and got worried.
We calmed down tho when we noticed him coming back into the room from the bathroom. He smiled a bit and greeted us. "I made you some breakfast.", he explained, motioning to the food.
Well... It didn't look all that great, ngl. But I decided to be nice and thanked him. Notch hesitated, but did the same.
Jubilea noticed that we were sort of unsure, so he sighed weakly, feeling bad again. "You don't have to eat it. I'm no good when it comes to cooking or anything like that. I'm sorry.", he apologized quietly, looking down and making his index finger touch a bit like some sort of cute anime schoolgirl.
Notch just replied to that by taking a bite.
Jubilea glanced over, getting more and more worried.
Notch didn't show any hate tho, he looked surprised. "It's... Not that bad, honestly. It's pretty good!", he complimented, surprised.
I took a bite too. It really wasn't bad. If we could manage to make it look a tad better, it would actually be something he can serve at a party or something along those lines.
Jubilea stared at us, seemingly unsure if we were kidding or not. When he noticed we weren't tho, he started grinning happily, which made him look like a small child that just received a good grade on their first test.
We ate up before he happily brought the plates back to the kitchen, returning with three glasses with a weird, pink fluid.
He handed us one each and kept the third one for himself. I tilted my head.
"What's that?"
"Lishiti."
"Li-what?"
"Lishiti!", he repeated, grinning. "A tea made of lychee, strawberries, a bit of mint, and banana!" I looked a bit surprised at the mix and sniffed it.
It smelled really sweet, with a slightly minty scent in between. It was mouth-watering, that's for sure!
What surprised me tho is that the tea wasn't hot. I assumed it was iced tea, and judging by Notchs' expression, he did too.
We both took a sip of it while Jubilea watched our expressions excitedly.
It tasted like a really sweet fruit salad with a refreshing feeling. I loved it, so I took another sip, floating in the taste.
God, I felt like I was in heaven!
Notch was pulling himself back a lot so he won't slurp all of it down.
We complimented it gladly and he showed us a really happy smile, sipping his drink too.
This day already started well, so let's continue it well, shall we?
