One Year Later
~Wedding Day~
~December 20~"Knock, knock, can I come in?" I heard a familiar gravely voice say.
"Yes, of course" I called out, smiling at Sunni before turning toward the door. As soon as it opened I grinned when I saw Hoseok enter the bridal suite in his crisp black tuxedo. As soon as he looked at me his face softened and a bright happy smile spread across his lips.
"Oh Em," he said, placing his hand on his heart. "You look absolutely beautiful."
"Thank you Hobi," I said to him, smiling and reaching out for him. I felt the butterflies in my stomach fluttering rampantly as he stepped to me. He held his arms open and I stepped into his embrace, hugging him tight. "Thank you for agreeing to walk me down the aisle today. It means so much."
"I'm honored that you asked me to," he said, stepping back and smiling at me. "And I'm happy to do it."
"I can't believe today is finally happening," I said, placing my hand on my stomach to calm my nerves.
"You okay?" Hoseok asked me, noting my expression.
"Oh yes, I'm fine. It's just nerves, I'll be fine once the ceremony is over. I can't wait to marry him," I said, smiling.
"You really do look amazing, Emmie," Sunni said, tucking a stray hair that fallen loose back into my styled updo. "I bet Jin cries when he sees you."
"Oh yeah, he'll definitely cry," Hoseok laughed. There was another knock and Sunni opened the door to a smiling Namjoon followed by Jimin and Yoongi. They all looked so gorgeous in their tuxedos as they filed into the bridal suite.
"Oh my god, look at you guys! You all look so handsome," I said, smiling at them.
"Us? Emmie wow, look at you," Jimin said, coming to me and kissing both cheeks. "You are an angel."
"Awe, Jimin, thank you," I said.
"You really do look amazing," Yoongi said, stepping to me and giving me a hug.
Namjoon walked to me and wordlessly pulled me into his embrace, holding on a few precious seconds before he released me and held my hands. "Emmie, you are so beautiful. Jin is a lucky man."
"Thank you so much," I said, my heart full. I was so glad that he and I had worked past everything and came out on the other side as close friends. He was such a wonderful guy and I was lucky to still have him in my life. "Where's Tae and Jungkook?"
"They're with Jin, trying to calm him down," Yoongi said smiling and Jimin chuckled.
"How is he?" I asked, my brows furrowing.
"He's definitely anxious," Namjoon replied with a laugh. "He can't wait to see you. He's been pacing back and forth checking his watch."
"Believe me, the feeling is mutual. The last twenty four hours have been torture without him." Jin wanted me to have the wedding of my dreams, complete with all of the customary traditions. The one tradition I wish we hadn't decided to follow was not seeing each other for twenty four hours leading up to the ceremony. I loved this man so much and being away from him, even for a day, for some silly tradition had been the only bad part of all of this.
