you were now within your seventh month, your stomach had grown more so you had to have your wardrobe more changed with custom gowns for your stomach, and you now had a custom maternity corset that was made to fit your stomach while not harming the baby, the doctor had returned to give you a routine checkup and also had a look at your leg, In which he removed the casting that he'd placed on it as It had fully healed which made you relieved, you could now walk by yourself and no longer needed the crutch, but you were still very much careful 

you were currently sitting In the lounging area as you talked with Alice, while Klee was on the carpet as she taught Diluc how to draw in which he already knew, but he went along with It 

"Weird Grown up, can Klee see your picture?"

Diluc showed his, and Klee smiled "wow! It's so pretty but what is it"

Diluc smiled, "It's a flower that reminds me of someone I love"

Klee smiled, "Oh oh! Klee knows It's Lady (Y/n) right?"

a light blush came to Diluc's cheeks, and you looked to him as you smiled while Alice laughed

"Goodness, you two are so sweet together" she said

Klee took Diluc's picture and walked over to you, "Lady (Y/n), this is from the weird grown up"

you leaned forward as she handed It to you, and you looked at the Gardenia that was drawn on the parchment with a smile coming to your face "It's beautiful, thank you"

Diluc stood up from the carpet and into the seat next to you, just as Alice had another sip of the tea that Elzer had made for her, just then Klee went to show Alice her own picture 

"Mommy look"

Alice looked at her picture, "adorable! you drew the bear so well"

Klee smiled proudly as Alice gave her head a pat, she then went to go draw some more

Alice turned to you, "Wait until you have your baby, things will become more lively especially when It grows up to be old as Klee"

you smiled, "It probably will be"

you rubbed your stomach and Diluc placed his hand over yours, and 

Alice turned to you, "I heard your injury is healed, that's great"

you nodded, "Indeed, I can walk more but I'm getting slower due to my stomach"

"Understandable, you know when I was pregnant things were difficult and I had a hard time giving birth which is why Klee's my only child"

you were surprised, "oh? I'm sorry"

Alice smiled, "It's alright, It was rough but worth It, but please don't let this scare you all births are different but I hope yours's will be smooth"

Alice had one last sip of her tea, she then placed the cup down, "Well It was wonderful seeing you both, but It's Klee's bedtime so we should be heading home"

"alright, thank you for coming please be careful on your way" you said

Alice patted Klee's hat, "sweetheart, say goodnight"

Klee went to give you a gentle hug "Goodnight Lady (Y/n), and little baby!"

you smiled, "Goodnight Klee"

Klee then turned to Diluc as she stared at him, but then gave him a hug much to his surprise and he gave her back a pat before she ran to go take her mom's hand

"Elzer, please see them out safely would you"

Elzer bowed his head, he then left to see them off as they left the manor, you then looked to the rose drawing that Diluc had made as you then covered your yawn

Diluc rubbed your back, "Tired my dear?"

you nodded In response, Diluc then started noticing his tiredness as well while he helped you to stand up and you walked to the staircase, heading upstairs together to the bedroom just as Adelinde came and helped you to undress and ready for sleep, and Diluc left for the moment 

you sat down at your vanity mirror, taking off your earrings and necklace while Adelinde brushed out your hair for you, when finished you removed the makeup that you were wearing before you started undressing from the gown you were In, you looked at your stomach when Adelinde removed the maternity corset, you could see stretch marks on the sides of It since It was getting bigger, Adelinde then brought your nightgown and you slipped your arms through as she  helped you pull it down, you rubbed your rounded stomach as you walked to the bed

"Thank you Adelinde"

just then Diluc returned now wearing his night shirt with his hair unbound, Adelinde bowed before she went to dim the candles and you got into bed, just as Diluc sat down

he let out a sigh, "It's been a long day hasn't It"

"mhm"

Diluc got into the bed and brought the covers over, you then carefully turned to face him in bed as he caressed your cheek before you shared a goodnight kiss, 

"That Gardenia was beautiful, I didn't know you could draw"

Diluc smiled, "you'd be surprised, but I'm glad you liked It"

you smiled and played with his red locks a little bit, "do you think the baby will have your hair?"

"I hope not"

you shook your head, "but why? your hair's always been nice"

"I guess, but I'd rather they take after you"

you snuggled in closer to him, "only if they take after us both...will It be nice"

Diluc brought his arms around you, "I suppose you're right...Goodnight my heart"

"Goodnight, dear"

you rested your head against his chest as you felt even sleepier and soon drifted off, and your husband soon followed suit as he too fell asleep, but then after a few hours you started feeling uncomfortable as you rubbed your stomach and slowly sat up

you were feeling a pain somewhere, though you'd been injured worse before In battle this was a little hard to swallow as you reached behind to rub your back some, just then Diluc woke up

"my heart, what's wrong?"

"I didn't mean to wake you, I'm just feeling uncomfortable"

Diluc came closer to you, "where does It hurt"

you rubbed your stomach and he leaned down to kiss it as he then rubbed It in circles, and after a bit of that you did start to feel a little better, but then you gagged as you covered your mouth 

"D...Darling....I need the basin"

Diluc got up quickly and went to turn on the oil lamp as he looked for It, and he got it and brought It to you quickly as he held your hair back for you while you threw up, you coughed and threw up some more all the while he rubbed your back to help soothe you 

your eyes were watery, just then he called for Adelinde and she removed the basin as you were finished, you wiped your mouth and cleaned It as well to remove the taste, and after that you had to get up to walk around a little bit in which Diluc accompanied you, you walked around and It helped you to feel better as you started getting sleepy again so Diluc carried you back to bed as you fell asleep within his arms, gently laying you down as he then held you close while bringing the blanket over you both.
