"Mummy! Mummy! Wake up!" David shouted as he was shaking you, you groaned in response.
"Oh, Sweetie... what is it?" You mumbled with a dry voice.
"We're here! Yay!" He replied happily as you opened my eyes and smiled, you loved it when your child was happy.
You stared at him who was jumping on his seat as you chuckled at him. "Now, stay still, David." You ordered. "Let's have fun after we unpack the things there."
"But Mummy..." He pouted.
"David... What did I say?" You said in a motherly tone.
"Be patient... And it will be worth it." He mumbled as he looked down.
"That's it, you don't want to be a bad boy, am I right?" You asked.
"Yes." He answered.
"Well then, since you behaved. I will buy you an ice cream." You announced, making him stare at you with sparkling eyes.
"Really, yay!" He shouted.
"Shh! You'll wake up the passengers, David." You whispered as you put your index finger on your lips.
"Sorry." He whispered back as he smiled cheekily, making me snort.
"Now, get your things ready before this plane lands." I said, looking out of the window.
. . .
"There's so many cameras here, what's up?" I thought, looking around the airport.
It was unusual for me to see those things, it wasn't like that back in Rome. "Maybe there's a celebrity?"
However, I wasn't interested at all. I'm prioritizing getting into our rented apartment.
And I'm happy that my salary's enough to buy a house in about less than a year. It could get David more comfortable.
"Mummy, look! Chinese people!" David shouted a he pointed at the group of people.
"They're not Chinese, David. They're Koreans." I reminded.
(When I was a kid my racist dumbass thought all Asians are Chinese.)
(Well, because my cousin's a half Chinese.)
"They're here!" I heard someone said in Korean as I saw the cameras flashing from my peripheral vision.
I looked at my left and saw a group of people walking along with the bodyguards.
Then, I thought randomly... What flavour of ice cream should I buy for my son. "David, what flavour do you wa-"
I noticed that he wasn't holding my hand, I looked around and I couldn't see him.
"David? David!" I called out for his name, as I started searching. I'm such a careless mother. "Where are you!?"
I started panicking, I didn't expect this moment happening to me. I couldn't afford to let anyone hurt my son.
"David!?" I called to for his name once again.
"Mummy!" I heard a voice, I knew it was my son.
I saw him, with a group of teens who was seemingly interested about the kid.
I sighed in relief as walked quickly towards him. With a sign of worry and anger in my face, the teens saw me and immediately started to go away from me.
"David? What did I tell you!? Stay close to me!" I scolded him.
"But Mu-"
"No buts, David!" I raised my voice, I didn't want to lose sight of him because it gets me dead worried when it happens.
