"Luciana. . . Vincenzo. . . Alejandro. . ."

"(YN)?" Mark called you.

"Those names, are from the people I met back in Italy..." You said, getting worried about them. The bonds that you created with them made memories that you would never forget. "There's a high chance that one of them were dead, maybe all of them."

He and Seungmin stared at each other. Your brother was right, you're strong but also vulnerable.

You were only staring through the window as you sighed deeply in frustration.

But you smiled after, reminiscing the memories of the past.

"You know, the last time I got in the hospital was the day David was born. It was the happiest day of my life..."

They only listened to you, interested in your story.

"And at that same day, those nine months that I had wait for my missing husband, hoping that he is safe..."

"... Then, when I heard news about him, I didn't believe at first. . . But..."

"As time passes, the people who mistreated me as if I got David into an accident, the months that I spent taking care of my son without the presence of his father. Those two factors made me believe that he's not going to come back."

David was only listening as he was hugging your waist. It was his first time hearing the story you never told. Whilst Mark and Seungmin, they were wondering how painful it was to be a single mother.

Slut, hoe, whore, those names that you had to deal with everytime.

It's true that women were complex, hard to understand...

...but it is also true that mostly single mothers were misjudged.

You had to carry everything at once, 24/7. You had no right to complain, being at the center of dark gossips. Also, you had to protect your child from the words that came out from those misjudging mouths.

You spent most of your time working just to bring food to the table, barely managing to have time for your child.

And David wanted to see his father and you were aware of it, but you couldn't do anything.

Single mother is a phrase that not everyone understood.

Someday, there's a possibility that David will hate you for being a single mother. You were scared of it.

(Deja Vu again, I've written this somewhere...)

As for Mark and Seungmin, they still didn't fully understand, but they felt like they wanted everyone to understand what you were going through. The struggle you had to carry everyday needed to be paid off.

(Actually, there are many types of single mothers. This might be offensive but I don't like some of them.)

"David?" The door opened as you saw James. "What flavor of ice cream do you like?"

He showed a variety of flavors stored in containers, they were picked by Jihyo, Lia, and Ryujin.

"Chocolates!" He said as he ran outside with your brother.

Jihyo went inside and walked to Mina who had been quiet in the room, "Cookies and cream?"

"Thanks." She mumbled, taking the ice cream.

"You've been really quiet lately, why?" Jihyo asked as she sat next to her. Mina then pointed at you. "You nervous?"

"I-It's not that... I'm just wondering how she raised David well without anyone's support. There are single mothers who have set their hunger for men, some of them even demanded that they should be loved. Yet she didn't need it and she handled it very well."
