- Kaz secretly likes parties, I won't change my mind on that.

- Of course, he pretends not to like them, but he always ends up enjoying every single one.

- You were in charge of the events in Slat, which mainly included begging Kaz to actually have events.

"Please, please, please can we have a costume party this Halloween?"

"No."

"PLEASE!"

"Fine," he said, pretending to be exasperated. "But no costumes!"

"IT'S HALLOWEEN, WE NEED COSTUMES, BREKKER!"

"I said no."

(Your puppy dog eyes make an appearance here.)

"Okay, but I won't be in a costume," he muttered, walking off.

"Good work," Jesper laughed when he was out of earshot. "I wanted to see him in a costume, but I guess we can't have everything."

"Says who?" You asked, frowning. "He's going to be matching with me."

"He just said-"

"He also said we wont be having any parties, but I changed that, didn't I?"

- Yup, he did end up matching with you. He was bitter about it too, but he couldn't stay with a frown on his face the whole night, especially since he had you by his side, smiling and laughing.

- The Crows played risky yet fun games — like who could steal the most from rich dummies who attended the party (Inej won), shooting games (do I even have to say Jesper won?), and the good old Take a Shot Anytime Kaz Rolls His Eyes (you won, though you were so drunk by the end of it.)

- Nina bought waffles, Jesper bought the crowd and Wylan painted some instances from the party.

- He gave you a painting of Kaz smiling at you while you were dancing by yourself. You decided to show it to Kaz, just to taunt him.

- You did not expect him to look surprised by the detailing of the painting. Wylan almost passed out when Kaz hung the painting in his office for everyone to see.

- You smiled, feeling more at home than ever. It was a Halloween the Slat would never forget.
