"I am a pizza slice, you are a pizza slice."

"Jesper, we're literally two triangles," you said, knotting your hands.

"Triangles don't have pepperonis!" he pointed at the badly-drawn colorful "pepperonis".

"We are triangles with polka dots." You sighed, gesturing to your cardboard cutout excuse of an outfit.

"Well it was either this or dressing up as Kaz so count your luck," Nina said, smiling from the corner of the room.

"What was wrong with that idea?" Jesper asked, frowning. "Kaz would have laughed."

"Kaz would have whacked your head with his cane," you said emotionlessly.

"Of course, you'd know exactly what he does," he muttered, taking off his pizza costume.

"What is that supposed to mean?" You asked curtly. Nina got up.

"Suddenly, something came up," she said and left, her eyes saying good luck.

"Go on," you folded your hands.

Jesper looked like he wished he hadn't said anything. "It's just- you spent a lot of time with him."

"Of course I do, it's part of the job." Your gaze hasn't softened.

"Yes, but I just-" he threw his hands into the air. "Fine, I miss you a lot, okay? We hardly spend time anymore."

He rolled his eyes when you smiled.

"Aw, Jesper Fahey missed me," you blinked innocently. "Do you like me?"

"We are literally dating for two months now."

"It's still funny." You picked up the triangle and held it up. He grabbed it with a scoff.

"And," you continued while shrugging. "I happen to prefer funny boys."

"Oh, just say you're in love with me." He smirked and put on the costume.

Of course I am, you thought, staring at your pizza boyfriend.

"See, we look hot," he winked. "Like a pizza, get it?"

"No," you walked out of the room.

"I'm a hot pizza! Hot enough to eat!"

"Kaz, I need to borrow your cane!"
