(Your P.O.V)
I was currently sitting at a bar in a random night club by myself. My friends had gone to the bathroom, but as I didn't need to go, I stayed to look after the drinks. I'm not one to get too drunk at clubs, so I had only had one drink so far.

As I was sitting there, staring at the bright screen of my phone, I felt an unfamiliar, muscular arm wrap around my waist and smelt an awful, alcohol scented breath way to close to my face. I turned around to see a man who was maybe in his late 20's, early 30's staring at me. As I was about to kindly tell him to leave me alone, he cut me off.

"Hey, what's a young, beautiful lady doing here, sitting by herself when they could be having fun with me, in my bed?" He slurred into my ear, obviously drunk. I internally cringed, wishing my friends would come back now.

"Excuse me, I hope you realise that you are way too old for me, so if you would please leave me alone, that would be greatly appreciated. My friends will be back any second now." I replied, while trying to get out of his grip from around my waist, however, his grip just tightened.

"Oh, I'm sure your friends won't be worried about you. Let's go back to my place, we can have great time there." He said, trying to persuade me to leave with him, however I was not going to give up that easily.

"I said leave me alone. Please get off of me." I said, continuing to struggle.

Before the man could reply, a husky voice could be heard from behind me, interrupting us.

"Excuse me, sir, please could you get your hands off my girlfriend before I do something I may regret."

Wait. Girlfriend?

I whipped my head around to see a girl with the most stunning emerald eyes I had ever seen. The mysterious girl subtly winked at me, encouraging me to play along. I did so and wiggled out of the man's grip as he had loosened it and ran to the side of the green eyed girl. She wrapped her arm around me and I felt goosebumps up my back. I felt so safe in this girls arms, it was a whole lot better than that horrible man.

She glared at him before he continued to speak. "Wait, girlfriend? So your both gay?"

"Yes. And, proud of it." The mysterious girl replied.

"I don't believe you, prove it." He replied.

The green eyed girl rolled her eyes. "Fine" she said, before turning to face me and cupping my cheeks. In a matter of seconds, I felt the softest pair of lips on my own and I immediately kissed back. Not to sound cheesy, but fireworks went off, it was perfect. When we separated, I was still in shock.

"Wow" was all I could manage to get out.

"Indeed, wow" she replied before turning back to the man, who looked stunned. "Satisfied?" She asked, smirking. The man did not reply, but walked off, very awkwardly, back to his friends in the corner of the club. After he had left, the green eyed beauty turned back to me.

"Sorry." Was all she said while looking down.

"Are you apologising to the floor or to me?" I smirked, suddenly feeling more confident. She looked up with apologetic eyes and replied "You."

"Well, there's no need to say sorry. I'm actually very thankful for what you did just then. I'm Y/N by the way." She smiled, obviously pleased that I wasn't mad at her.

"I'm Lauren." She told me while putting her hand out for me to shake. However, I pulled her into a hug, then grabbed her hand and lead her to the bar I was previously sitting at.

"Look, this may sound weird but I saw you from across the room and when that man came up to you, I instantly knew I needed to help you. I like you, Y/N, like, really like you." Lauren told me. The smile on my face grew even bigger, if that was possible.

"I really like you too, Lauren. Hey, maybe I could have your number?" I replied and Lauren chuckled.

We then exchanged numbers and ordered another drink each. For the rest of the night, we talked, laughed, and ate. The conversation flowed easily, as if we had known each other our entire lives and honestly, it felt that way. My friends saw us, after they came out the bathroom and winked at me before leaving to go home. Lauren gave me a lift back to my place at the end of the night and as I was getting into bed I received a text message from her. We continued to chat until the early hours of the morning, when I eventually fell asleep. Needless to say, that was the best sleep I had had in a long time.

A/N: I'm new to writing so please go easy on me. Also, if you could leave me some suggestions on what to write, that would be great! Thanks :) - A
