Lauren had left early to go to the studio today, so you weren't surprised to see her missing when you woke up. She did, however, make you breakfast, like she always did when she wasn't there to give you morning kisses when you woke up. Today was different though. You woke up with an awful headache and and terribly sore throat so no matter how hard you tried, you just couldn't swallow the delicious breakfast, your girlfriend had so kindly made.
Instead of getting up to go to work, you called in sick, grabbed some ice cream from the freezer and snuggled up in the bed you shared with Lauren, to watch Netflix all day. You were currently obsessed with 'Pretty Little Liars' so you were going to catch up on that. You decided to text Lauren to tell her that you were sick, just so she wouldn't be too worried when she got home.

Hey baby, I'm not feeling 100% today so I called in sick to work. I'm fine though! Love you! 😘

After reassuring Lauren that you were fine, you snuggled into the blankets and started watching 'PLL'.
You were almost finished watching the fourth episode when your eyes started becoming heavy. You decided to switch off your T.V and get some sleep, hoping you could sleep off the sick bug, you seemed to be able to catch.
You must of slept for quite some time because you wake up to your girlfriend lightly shaking you and whispering your name in your ear.
"Y/N, wake up baby." You heard her soft voice say. You slowly open your eyes to see your girlfriends bright green ones staring back at you. You give Lauren a small smile and when she goes to give you a peck on the lips, you turn your head so she ends up kissing your cheek.
"What was that for?" Lauren gasps.
"I don't want you getting sick, baby." She smiles at your thoughtfulness, however still gives you a quick peck.
"I don't care. I bought you some medicine from the store on the way back from the studio, here, take it." Your make a disgusted face because your know the medicine will taste horrible. Lauren giggles at your face but proceeds to open the bottle, pour some on a spoon and feed you the foul tasting medicine. You cringe at the taste.
"Sorry, baby, but it will help you feel better." Lauren walks into the bathroom to put the medicine away and get changed. When she comes out, she is wearing an oversized Bob Marley t-shirt and pyjama shorts. She crawls into the bed and you snuggle into her side. She protectively wraps her arms around your waist and you place your head into the crook of her neck. Lauren turns the T.V back on and you continue watching 'Pretty Little Liars'. Eventually, your fall asleep. In the arms of the love of your life.
