"Y/N, is that you?" You turn around to see your friend, Harry, who you hadn't seen since high school. He had always had a little crush on you, however, you knew you were gay, so you never returned the feelings.
"Yeah, hi Harry! How're you doing? We haven't seen each other in ages" You asked, noticing Harry look you up and down, obviously checking you out. Lauren noticed his roaming eyes to, because her grip around your waist got tighter, pulling you into her side more.
"I know! It's been a long time. I'm doing good. Busy, with college and all, but good nonetheless." You just smiled at him, not really knowing how to respond. Luckily, Lauren butted in, so there wasn't too much of an awkward silence.
"Hey, I'm Lauren. Y/N's girlfriend." She introduced herself. Harry nodded at her and offered a small "Hi" before returning his attention back to you. 'Wow, rude.' Lauren thought to herself.
"You know, we should hang out sometime. Catch up." Harry suggested. Lauren was obviously becoming jealous at this point, as she spoke up before you could even open your mouth.
"Y/N's actually really busy, herself, so I don't think she would be able to." Harry did not seem to like Lauren all that much, seeing as he just scowled at her and replied "I think Y/N can answer for herself, don't you?"
"I'm quite busy to be honest with you, Harry. Maybe another time?" You said, trying to prevent a fight between Lauren and Harry, from happening. Lauren just smirked at him, then kissed your temple. Even though you explained that you were busy to Harry, he was persistent.
"Are you sure? I'm not busy this weekend and I'm sure you're not either. Maybe we could meet at the coffee shop down the road." Lauren, seething with anger and jealousy already, was getting quite mad at his continuous, failed efforts at getting you to go to lunch with him.
"I don't think you realise that Y/N has a girlfriend, which, so happens to be me. So, I'm pretty sure she has something to do this weekend. Maybe you should get over your little crush on her and go for someone that's actually in you league. Okay?" Lauren sassed. You internally smirked at her comment. Harry, who seemed taken aback by her little outburst just replied with a "Sorry" before turning around and leaving. Lauren, satisfied by her comment, turned to you, cupped your cheeks and kissed you passionately. You snaked you arms around her neck and eventually parted when oxygen became an issue.
"I don't like him." You laughed at her bluntness while she smiled lovingly at you because she found your laugh just too cute.
"Jealous Lauren is a sexy Lauren." You said while kissing her again.
"Oh, I'll show you a sexy Lauren." Was all she said, before taking your hand in hers and interwinding your fingers. You made you way home, and to say you had you had a good night, was an understatement.
