Williams POV

I suddenly felt a soothing presence near me, and I tried to open my eyes but failed immensely. I wanted to know who the company was, and I curled my figures around their finger, but I realised that person had run away, making me sad. In a few minutes, a doctor came along with a nurse, and they had helped me open my eyes. When I opened my eyes, it took time for me to adjust to the sunlight, so the doctor asked the nurse to lower the blinds, and slowly I could open my eyes but could not see anything. I was thinking about the last memory I had, and it was me taking Charlotte across the road to a park to ask something, and I wanted to know what I had asked her, so I started to call out Charlotte's name.

Doctor: "Which one of you is Charlotte?"

Charlotte: "me" she pointed at herself

Doctor: "please talk to him and also don't let him stress his eyes."

Charlotte: "okay, doctor."

Doctor: "take care, we all will wait outside."

After everyone left, Charlotte came close to me

Charlotte: "Ed, are you fine, and do you remember me ?"

William: "why won't I remember you?"

She smiled

Charlotte: "because you were in a coma."

William: "I think I'm fine, Charlotte, and I want to ask you something."

Charlotte: "what is it, Ed?"

William: "the last memory I have is of me taking you across the road to a park to ask you something. Can I know what it is?"

Charlotte: "Ed, you asked me if a person can change? and you asked me if you should judge a person based on their past?"

William: "what did you say?"

Charlotte: "I said a person can change if they changed for the better, then it's wrong for you to judge them on their past."

William: "okay, and?"

Charlotte: "you said something about you making a mistake because of your dumb brain."

William: "really?"

Charlotte: "yes"

Why did I ask Charlotte about all of this? I don't exactly remember why but I want to know why but first, I want to know how I ended up here

William: "How did I end up here?"

Charlotte: "you were running to cross the road, and a car hit you and went away, and we got you here."

William: "okay"

Why did a car hit me, and why was I running to cross the road?

William: "why was I running?"

Charlotte: "I don't know; you started to run without telling me anything."

That's very unusual of me; what have I done? I must have made all my friends sad because of my irresponsible behaviour

William: "okay, and I'm sorry, sis."

Charlotte: "it's fine, Ed, just never do this again."

William: "I won't."

I looked at my body, it was clean and fresh, and I touched my hair, and it seemed all set, so I thought Charlotte had helped me out when I was in a coma.

William: "thank you, Charlotte, for taking care of me while I was in a coma."

Charlotte: "it was not me, Ed."
