Williams POV:

I came and placed the basket on the ground and spread some waffles, apple pie, croissants and hot chocolate on the mat. I signed her to come to sit down along with me, and when she sat down, I handed her a plate filled with food along with cutlery.

Cassandra: "You are so sweet, William; you did all of this for me," she said before she started to admire the view again

'I am glad she likes all of this, and I also like doing things for her; I don't know why I love doing these small things for her like getting coffee, flowers and making breakfast for her, it's the first time I'm putting in so much effort with this girl, and I have no clue why I'm going this' I blushed hard this time thinking 'you're making me do stuff that no girl ever made me do.'

William: Care for some hot chocolate?" she nodded

William: "Did you clear your brain?"

Cassandra: "I did, but I need to think more regarding my future."

William: "If you want to talk, I'm all ears," I say while sipping my hot cocoa

Cassandra: "I just need to plan my future, William and I have to take a few very bold steps in recent times, and now I should set my life on track."

'She is opening up to me huh, what does she mean, future? I mean, I know she ran away from home. I wanna know why I should smoothly ask her.'

William: "What do you mean, aren't you the textile princess? Don't you already have a company to run?"

Cassandra: "It's a long story, William; let's save it for some other time."

'I was hurt on the inside that's she did not tell me, but I should not show it out, and how could I expect her to tell me everything? We met. I should give her some more time.'

William: "For sure, whenever you are comfortable."

Cassandra: "William, can I ask you something"

William: "Yes"

Cassandra's face changed as if she was contemplating her decision of asking me whatever she wanted to ask.

William: "don't overthink, princess, ask me whatever you want to ask."

Cassandra: "Do you honestly don't remember who I am?"

' what should I do now, I'm caught? Guilty or not guilty, definitely guilty.'

William: "I remember who you are, Cassandra, but..."

Cassandra: "But what, William?" she raises her eyebrows

William: " See Cassandra, you know how I used to be in high school, but that's not who I am anymore; I'm a very different person now, and I just wanted to start fresh cause I'm not the same as before and I want us to know each other from scratch, and I do not want anything from our past to impact our new friendship."

Cassandra nodded her head and was staring at the garden and started to talk

Cassandra: "Oh, thank god, at least you remember who I am cause I thought you forgot me, but it's fine, William, and I understand you."

'Does she understand? Did she change for the good?'

William: "That's nice that you understand, princess."

Cassandra: "two"

William: "what?"

Cassandra: "you called me princess twice today, William."

'I called her princess twice without realising what is happening to me.'

William: "sorry, Cassandra."

Cassandra: "it's fine, William; no hard feeling here."

William: "let's back home, or do you wanna stay out for some more time."

Cassandra: "let's get home William, I have a lot of things I need to set straight."

I nodded, and we made our way back to the car, and on the way, before we did a little bit of catching up but nothing significant. Once I dropped her back, I headed home to continue my work. Once I got into my office, I tried to complete the schedule my assistant sent for me, but I was not able to concentrate, and the reason behind my inefficient work was Cassandra; I was mesmerised by the beautiful eyes they kept coming back into my thoughts and the storm my god I want to cool it down so bad and make her feel safe and precious.

All these days, I thought what the news said about me was confirmed that I'm a billionaire playboy who changes women like clothes; I thought I was happy with all the one night stands and midnight parties until I met Cassandra. I don't know why And how I feel for her in such a short period, and she made me realise that I have a huge vacuum in my heart that needs to be filled, and she can only fill it, her smile, her laughter and her love. I had made up my mind that I would go to any extent to make Cassandra mine. Cassandra is mine, I repeated to myself, and abroad, a genuine smile appeared on my face. My souls started to mock me again

'She can be your William, and you can do anything to get her, but is she someone you want to fight for, don't forget William; she is one of them.'
