85 Jay St FRONT 8T, Brooklyn, NY 11201 • Himari's Condo.
|Saturday June 5th 2021 • 08:52 AM|
The fifth of June. Three days after the Celtics fell to the Nets; two days after the Sixers beat the Wizards and most importantly, a full week had gone by since Himari introduced her body to a new bed.
Himari's eyes open coming face-to-face with the ginger bearded face she'd become too familiar with this past week. It was all the same pattern, she'd go to bed at his house and leave at the crack of dawn with no warning nor explanation. He was well aware of his role in Himari's life and no matter how much he wanted more, he knew Himari had no such intention. This was purely physical for her and him demanding more would take away the sole thing he looked forward to every day. Himari knew what she was doing was beyond wrong. She's rolling in someone's bed while engaged to Kevin.
Before today, she's been able to make sure all her infidelity took place far away from her condo. The idea of having Kevin sleep in the same bed she had another man in haunted her and she made sure it didn't happen. Until last night.
Himari's Confessional:
“Last night can't be explained. I'm terrible, I know that. Kev went to his condo 'cause his mom was in town. Blake shows up unannounced in a white hoodie and grey sweat shorts...What else was I supposed to do other than jump his bones?! I was set up and I'm not proud of it. But I don't regret it.”Himari swings her legs off to the side of the bed sitting up. Carefully she picks up the ring she'd tucked away in her bedside table's drawer before scrambling to find her robe. The ring she once couldn't imagine taking off hasn't been on her finger for longer than an hour or two this whole week.
Stirring, Blake awakes from his slumber watching Himari walk around her room frantically.
"I know your ass didn't put me to sleep so you could just leave again." He chuckles in the morning voice he knows will leave her weak in the knees and thinking of him all day long.
"You should be the one leaving. I have a wedding to plan." Himari stops in her tracks addressing Blake with her back turned towards him. She couldn't look at him.
"Right, the wedding you and KD both don't want..." Blake sits up leaning on the bedframe, his hands above his head watching Himari's movements.
"Blake, you don't know everything about me just because you've been consecutively inside me for a week." Her bluntness raises his body temperature translating into the pink tint on his face.
"When will you finally accept that you're not ready to get married?" This is the sole reason she always left when he was asleep. Blake always saw through her, telling her everything she ignores about herself and she hated every second of it. Of course she could've gone with Harden, he noticed nothing but he also spoke a lot. He would've told Kevin everything before he even got a taste.
