The morning air was cold, the sun already on the sky. The little birds chirped in the symbol that it was already morning. The lighted rays penetrated through the thin material of the white curtain. The light enveloped the little one who turned with his whole body, his face now invaded by light. Eyes began to open. He looked ahead for a few moments. What had happened the day before had come to his mind. He smiled briefly, then moving back to the expression without emotion. He rose slowly to the bottom, placing his hands on his lap on the blanket, his head down. He began to think, slowly beginning to lose focus. A light knock on the door had awakened him to reality.
"Morro? Are you awake?" Cole's voice came from behind the door.
"Yes.." He replied, the door starting to open, Cole stepping inside.
"Did you sleep well?" He asked as he sat on the edge of the bed. Morro nodded. "I'm glad. Breakfast will be ready in ten minutes, you have time to change by then. And when you're ready, you can go downstairs."
"Okay..." Cole gave him a smile of encouragement before he left.
Morro was looking at the bedroom. He was beginning to see walls differently, other colors, other details, new objects appearing. He beginning to get confused. A teapot had appeared in the middle of the room. The little one slowly got out of bed, not taking his eyes off the kettle. Small, slow steps made their way to the object, which attracted all his attention and curiosity. When he reached it, he slowly sat down, his hands on the teapot. As soon as he touched it, it disappeared and the boy quickly hit the floor. His eyes widened in shock and fright. He looked around quickly, everything became as it was before, normal. He had taken a deep breath.
"I-I'm fine.. i-it was just an illusion.." He sat down on the carpet. "I should get up and change. I think the meal is ready."
His limp body slowly rose to his feet. He headed for the closet in the corner of the room. Inside, was some nicely clothes. He picked up a light turquoise blouse and black pants.
Morro opened the bedroom door, quietly leaving the room. He was going to the bathroom first to wash his hands, after he will went down to the table. In the bathroom, before he released the water, he looked in the mirror. Slightly pale, tired face, small traces of dark circles, innocent and empty eyes, sad and confused, scared.. Slightly untidy hair. He looked deep, feeling his chest begin to ache. He quickly shook his head, quickly released the water, washed his hands, closed it, wiped himself with a towel, then walked briskly into the kitchen. He suddenly stopped at the corner.
"I'm telling you Jay, he is a bad blight." The stinging voice of the Fire Master was heard, putting the plates on the table, now with an extra one.
"No, he is not. He's really... adorable!" Jay protested.
"Adorable? Morro? In dreams." Finish sitting down. "I'm telling you, it's a trick. He may be a child, but he's still a villain."
"FORMER, villain." Cole had corrected him sharply. "Would you remember what I told you yesterday, Kai?" He had asked, putting his hands folded across his chest.
Kai looked down angrily. Lloyd looked at him intently before speaking: "What did Cole tell you?"
"...that I will stay with Morro today." He said unhappily. "It will be a pain!"
"Don't talk about him like that!" Cole got angry. "He's just a kid! And he didn't do anything to me, you or Lloyd. Give him a chance."
Kai looked at his friend. Maybe he was right. Morro is just a kid now. It would be stupid of him to snap at a child, it would be mean and immature of him, a Ninja.
