My enemy has always been my memory.

Reminding me of all the pain.

I thought no would care for me.

Everything was hopeless and empty.

I had no family to care for me in this world, but one cruel, and one there.

She was there for me, but didn't protect me.

All the pain was physical, and yet emotional.

I wish I had more family to love me.

Then the day I decided to run away.

I chased a little bird through the cave.

I fell into a world full of fantasy and make-believe.

My eyes widened in such glee.

How can a world like this be make-believe.

I followed the bird once more, and fell over.

Everything was black for me, but when I opened my eyes.

I see the family that I'd always dreamed.

Even though the one that was there for me isn't there no more.

I'll be sure to call her here, and say no more to bad memories.

And no more to hate and pain.

We'll just have good memories, and none of the one's that want to harm us.

(Just so you know, I made this poem up by myself.)
