"That's game!" You yelled, flipping over the the last scorecard for the fourth scrimmage of the day. 25-23.

The boys all scattered in their own ways, some grabbing water, others sitting down, leaning on their knees to catch their breath, grabbing towels. Light chatter filled the gym as everyone waited for both sets of coaches to give their final words for the day.

Shiratorizawa Volleyball decided to host a friendly training camp with Aoba Johsai, and you were wrapping up day two.

You were Shiratorizawa's manager, you and coach Saito both politicking for Coach Washijo as best as you could. The training as usual was his idea, sponsored by your school, but he was as warm as the ice age.

Everyone quickly helped clean up before going to eat dinner, and when they all left, you stayed behind to organized things the way you liked.

You appreciated double the help with double the players, but the guys's version of clean didn't always match yours.

"Not gonna eat?" You heard a familiar voice ask through the doorway.

Looking up, you saw Oikawa accompanied by his usual charismatic smile as he came back into the gym. You politely smiled back and waved.

"Oh, no, I— I'll come to sit down. I just wanted to disinfect the bins again, flip the score-cards back, small stuff." You tried to reassure him.

"Then I'll help," he said as he took the cleaner from you. "It'll get done faster this way."

"No it's really—"

"Go on, (y/n)-chan," he shooed you to the other small-chores you had lined up, pushing your lower back a little. "Then you can come eat with the rest of us."

You weren't sure why you listened to him, but you hurried to finish a few other things. He hummed a little as he sprayed down the volleyballs and wiped down the handles on the bins.

Knock knock knock.

"Coming," you answered as you got up, turning your music down a little. You slid the door open to see Oikawa's cheeky smile.

"I brought snacks," he shrugged and cocked his head to the side a little, holding up the convenient store bags he held in both hands; his way of asking if he could come in.

The only girl in the group, your dorm was alone, all the way on the other side away from the boys. You were trying to decided if you minded the company.

You grabbed a bag of chips from the plastic bag in his right hand and shuffled through the other one to see if he had gotten any tea. You found it and turned around, him following you in and shutting the door behind you both.

"Thank youuu," you smiled as you sat down, opening the chips and signaling him to sit down too.

"I'm surprised one of your guys isn't here, I half expected this seat to already be taken." He remarked, resting on your bedding.

"What would they be bothering me at this hour for?" You side-eyed him jokingly.

"Your world-renowned advice, of course," a very long duh should have been at the end of that sentence with his tone.

"Normally I save it for teams we need help defeating," you scrunched your face and smiled. "So that must be why you need my advice?"

"Ha-hahaha," he fake laughed and leaned forward to poke your forehead.

You'd known Oikawa for a few years, playing against AJ a a couple times as Shiratorizawa's manager. You had a friendly rivalry, similar to most of the teams you considered serious competitors. You'd only hung out with him alone a handful of times though. He was always nice behind the teasing.
