i started the Twilight book. But i HATE IT so i stopped reading it
very rushed chapter, enjoy

“Can you believe it?” Yuzuha growled, plopping herself on the bench beside you, “The vending machines only have B positive blood!”

You watched her throw it in the air, only for it to land in her hand. She repeated this a few times before she turned to you. A glint in her eyes that you could only guess was mischief.

“You know that Mitsuya, right? One of the originals?”

You swallowed your drink. “Yes, why?”

She grinned, dropping the bag on your skirt. Her voice was low. “I’m planning on driving a White Oak Stake through his heart.”

You nearly choked when her sentence came out. “You want to kill him!?”

Yuzuha slapped her hand over your mouth, whipping her head back and forth making sure no one heard you. An Ikari Maaku big on her forehead. “So what if I do?”

You struggled to remove her hand from your mouth. “That could kill off his whole sireline! Everyone he’s turned!”

Your heart hadn’t moved in 127 years, but you swore it skipped a beat just now. She knows this, you know she knows. Imagine committing about 50 counts of homicide, with only one being intentional.

“I know. You know I know.” She ripped your blood bag out of your hand. Laughing when she read the big O negative on it. “Meet me at our treehouse at 10pm, kay?”

You agreed, cursing yourself for allowing your voice to shake.

Doing what your girlfriend asked, you went deep in the forest in search of a treehouse. When you finally saw it, Yuzuha appeared in front of you. A big smile on her face.

“Are you ready for this?”

Dubiously, you nodded your head. Yuzuha pulled a white, pointed piece of wood from a bag she carried. After that, she grabbed your hand and practically dragged you further into the woods.

“Why are you doing this again?”

“To complete something on my bucket list. Offing an original.”

You sighed, focusing more on controlling your shaking than where you were going. Soon, Yuzuha stopped and crouched behind a thick-trunked tree. The both of you peeked from behind it to see her target with a dog. You assumed he was walking his dog, which is weird. But originals do weird shit.

Yuzuha grins again taking a small step forward but stops when you grab her sleeve. “Ar- are you sure about this? I don’t think i can watch.”

She sighs and grabs your face, leaning in for a quick kiss. Which ends too soon, in your opinion. “You dont have to watch, love.”

She stands up fully, giving you a wink. “Just sit tight. I’ll be back soon, kay?”

Once she steps out of sight you draw your legs closer to your body. A shiver slides down your back in anticipation, and fear. Originals are relatively stronger that plain old vampires, if she fails, it’s off with her head. Mitsuya could’ve heard you, given the super hearing vampires have and stuff. Maybe he did, and if so Yuzuha is definitely done for.

A weird tingling sprouted from your toes, like static. Or like a noise filter on a photo editing app. Getting more prominent until it felt as if your feet were stone. And this feeling travled up to your knees, then it began sprouting at your fingers and growing just the same.

You looked down and gasped. Your skin turned a gray-ish version of it’s original color, dark gray veins noticeable on the skin. She did it, she killed Mitsuya. A tear fell from your eye, and a smile formed on your face.

“Did it,” her voice sounded crazed, drunk, obsessed. Or… something. “He’s gone.”

But so are you. Now imagine her face when Yuzuha see’s her girlfriend’s gray, stone corpse.
