(Captain Marvel) Chapter 7: Final Fight

Kratus was looking at Steve... Steve Rogers in his Captain America suit.

Steve: Hey Kaiden.

Kratus: No, no, no, you're not real. You froze, your body was never found.

Steve: Hey, it's me, it's really me.

Kratus: You're not Steve! WHO ARE YOU?!!!

Steve: Kaiden-

Kratus: You froze! You died! Howard, Peggy, everyone of the infantry was killing themselves looking for your remaining!

Steve: Please-

Kratus ran and lifted Steve almost crying.

Kratus: A-Answer me! Who are you?!

Steve couldn't answer as Kratus throws him to the table with a radio. He lands in it as Kratus was about to cry.

Kratus: You were gone. We didn't find you and you just appear here like if nothing happened?

Steve: Kaiden, I'm sorry, but the cube brought me here, don't know how and why but... I can't escape.

Kratus: What is this place?

Steve: Wish I knew. How is she? How's Margaret?

Kratus: Margaret?

Steve: Yeah, Margaret.

Kratus: You never... what is this place?

Steve: Kaiden?

Kratus: You never called her Margaret, is Peggy. Who the hell are you?

Steve: I have no idea what your talking about.

Kratus eyes glow intensely as he clenches his fist.

Kratus: You got some nerves using my brother's appearance.

He shoots his cosmic eye beams but Steve just unleashes some cables from behind and wraps them around Kratus.

Steve: Thought I could fool you for a while but... took you less time to figure it out, though like you said, is Peggy not Margaret, what a disgusting name.

Kratus angered reacts but couldn't move.

Steve: Maybe a bit of music will lighten the mood, and also this jacket.

His costume changes to a pilot jacket costume, he realized it was one similar to Dr Lawson. Steve puts some music and later sees Carol wake up. She looks in front and sees Kratus tied up with Steve standing who looks back and sees Carol.

Steve: There she is. Seems like your time on C-53 jogged the old memory. This jacket. It's killer, by the way. Oh. The music. It's a nice touch.

Carol: Let us out!

Steve: No can do.

Carol: If you hurt them, I will burn you to the ground.

Steve: With what exactly? Your power comes from us.

Carol: You didn't give me these powers. The blast did.

Steve: And yet, you've never had the strength to control them on your own.

Carol was about to attack but a snap from Steve made her shock herself and fall making Kratus try to attack but can't.

Steve: Stay down.

The cables push Kratus even further to the ground. Carol stands up but not without leaving a groan.

Steve: You did good, Ace. Thanks to you... *grabs a fake Space Stone* those insidious shapeshifters will threaten our borders no more.
