I know it's November already, but, better get this over with! After all, ROTT is a year later.
The Night Before Halloween
Gemma swam in the lagoon of Arcadia, she leapt from the water, transforming human for a moment before falling back into the water.
The moon glowed into the lagoon, almost illuminating it. Gemma swam through the water as she searched for something-
A blue stone shimmered in her eye, a grin came across her face as she grabbed it.
She wagged her tail happily as she placed it into her sack, revealing red, green, and more blue stones. Including a few dark purple Oxy crystals and see-through ones.
Gemma swam towards the dock of the lagoon, grasping the ledge, she pulled herself up.
Shaking herself off like a dog on her fours, hair covering her blind eye. Standing up onto her hind legs...
She began to trudge through the woods, hearing only that of animals and the crinkle of leaves beneath her paw pads.
"Hmm..." Her ears perked at the sound of something,
A mass went past her quickly, making Gemma freeze, "Who's there!?"
"In this town, don't we love it now?" A voice sang, "Everybody's waiting for the next surprise!"
"Huh?" Gemma looked around with her pupils dilating.
"I am the who when you call, "Who's there?"..."
Something was stalking behind her, before a finger touched her, making her let out a scream like a banshee.
She fell onto her ass, squeezing her eyes shut and covering her face as the mass was atop her.
"Well, well, well, aren't you a scaredy~cat?" A voice hummed, a harsh huff of hot breath came across her face.
Cracking an eye open, she saw Bular above her, as her jaw went slack.
"Never heard of Mischief Night? Before Halloween?" He grinned, "It's my favorite night of the year,"
"I have...I just didn't really suspect you to be...Y'know, almost scaring me to death! And, singing a few lyrics of This Is Halloween."
Bular pulled off his mate and helped her to his feet, "Know that song by heart, Hallow is the best, because, you can scare whoever you want! And, get ultimate reactions..."
"Because people become paranoid during Halloween."
"Yeah,"
"Wait, where is Rowy?!"
"She is playing with Odin currently in our house."
SIGH
"What's wrong?"
"It's just, it's kind of crazy that when we are in Arcadia, we stay in my mom's old home, it brings back a lot of memories..."
"I know, Gemma, but, no human dares to hurt you like what happened to your mother without going through me, okay?"
"Yeah...But that's what I worry about,"
"I know I...Y'know...your father-" The bull sighed, pulling his mate close with his arm, nuzzling her nose, "-if anything, I don't deserve you, okay? But, you love me anyway,"
