History/Quick backstory: Born in 1921 in Brooklyn New York, Virginia quickly befriended Steven "Steve" Rogers and James Buchanan "Bucky" Barnes. The three were inseparable, even when the two men were sent off to war. Virginia eventually joined the army, working as a nurse where she could. At the training grounds she met Margaret "Peggy" Carter who helped her switch to working with the Strategic Scientific Reserve. Peggy had a huge crush on Steve and Virginia was crushing on Bucky. The four became close, despite Bucky disappearing and presumed dead. Eventually Steve crashed and was thought to be dead as well, leaving Peggy and Virginia to mourn them and eventually move on to create SHIELD. Modern day would reveal that Steve was alive and so Peggy and Virginia were there to greet him. Eventually Steve and Virginia would meet Bucky, only as the Winter Soldier, but eventually they would get their friend back.
