History/Quick backstory: Kyah was born completely blind, something that surprised everyone. But that didn't stop her from earth bending and taking after her father (he was also an earth bender). She has never let her blindness stop her from doing anything. She's the oldest of four children and the family is pretty rich. And no, her younger siblings aren't blind.
