History/Quick backstory: Anya was captured by HYDRA, just like Natasha Romanoff. She went through the Red Room, being trained as a young girl to be an assassin. In between all the assassin training she was also trained in ballet, a skill that also helped her. She was essentially brainwashed by HYDRA into believing that what she was doing was right and that HYDRA was the good guys and anyone against them was bad. (Depending on what "age" of her we pick, this story may be altered a little). But eventually she is captured by SHIELD and kept locked up until they can break through that "brainwashing" and turn her into one of their agents, working to destroy HYDRA along with the Avengers

Scenario 1:

A. (My OC is still working with HYDRA). You work with SHIELD (as an agent/Avenger/etc), and there's been a lot of HYDRA sightings. Two of which have fearsome reputations, the Winter Soldier (who is eventually caught and brought onto SHIELD) and a woman known only as the Dark Viper. SHIELD's sources say she's an excellent sniper with a lethal reputation, and you (along with the Avengers) have been sent to destroy the HYDRA base and Dark Viper (if you find her). What happens when you come face to face with her?

B. (Our OC's are SHIELD agents/Avengers) It's the events of Civil War. Anya has taken Captain America's side, alongside James Barnes and the rest of his squad. What side will you pick? Will you fight with her or against her?
