History/Quick backstory: Elowyn is the younger sister of Aragorn Arathorn. Her father Arathorn II was killed by an Orc arrow when she was barely one. Her mother Gilraen brought her children to Rivendell to keep them safe. Aragorn was given the nickname "Estel" which meant "Hope" to conceal his true identity. The three lived in Rivendell until Aragorn was twenty and Elowyn was almost nineteen. When Aragorn was twenty Elrond told him about his heritage and the destiny that waited for him. It was around the same time that Aragorn met Arwen and the two fell in love. Eventually Gilraen left Rivendell to dwell with her people, living her children to live in Rivendell. She would rarely see her children, as they traveled the wilds of Middle Earth as rangers. Eventually Gilraen would pass away, leaving her children orphans. Elowyn and Aragorn met the four hobbits at the Prancing Pony and protected them from the Ringwraiths. The six made their way towards Rivendell, where they would be attacked by the Ringwraiths again at Weathertop. Frodo was stabbed by one of the Ringwraiths. Luckily Arwen was close by and rushed him to Rivendell. Aragorn, Elowyn and the other three hobbits followed. It was only at Rivendell did Elowyn collapse, revealing she had also been stabbed by a Ringwraith blade. The two wounded lay in bed for weeks before they were healed, though the scars would remain. And shortly after, the Council of Elrond would be called, where Frodo announced that he would take the ring. Shortly after everyone pledged to join him, making it ten companions. And they set off shortly after. In the Mines of Moria Gandalf fell and 'died' to the Balrog. The other nine companions were left to continue towards Lothlorien. They rested in Lothlorien for a time before Galadriel saw them off. They took the borrowed boats down the river, trying to avoid the Orcs that followed. Eventually the companionship would be broken, Frodo and Sam splitting off to go to Mordor, Boromir died protecting Merry and Pippin, and Merry and Pippin were taken by Orcs. Aragorn, Elowyn, Legolas and Gimli were left to chase after the Orcs. Eventually they would reach the Riddermark where they would meet Eomer and the Rohirrim. They tracked the two hobbits into the forest where they would eventually meet Gandalf the White, the reincarnation of Saruman/Gandalf. The reunited companions hurried towards Rohan so that Gandalf could free Théoden from the curse. They were stopped at the door and forced to hand over their weapons, Gandalf was allowed to keep his staff. They entered and Gandalf broke the curse over Théoden. Then Grima was banished from the kingdom. There was a brief period of respite before they needed to pack and make for Helm's Deep, to protect the people of Rohan. On the way to Helm's Deep they were attacked by Wargs, which took the lives of many men. And Aragorn was pulled over the cliff and presumed dead. Heartbroken by the lose they made it to Helm's Deep where they were preparing to defend the place. As they were preparing Aragorn pushed the doors open, revealing that he was injured but alive. The battle was long and many lives were lost. But Gandalf came through, having found Eomer and the Rohirrim and brought them to Helm's Deep to turn the tide of battle. They won in the end, despite the casualties. And then pieces were in motion, leading up to the big end. The companions would return to Rohan, only to be split again. Gandalf and Pippin took off to Gondor to try and warn Denethor about the upcoming war. During the battle for Minas Tirith Elowyn rode close to Dernhelm (Eowyn) and Merry. She kept the two safe as much as she could. Eventually the tides of battle were turned when the dead army was brought in, thanks to Aragorn. The Witch King tried to take Théoden but Eowyn was quick to behead the beast, and battle the Witch King. With Merry and Elowyn's help she managed to kill the Witch King. The three would collapse thanks to their wounds. Eomer would find his uncle and sister 'dead'. Aragorn would find his sister 'dead'. Now that the battle was over the two girls were brought into Gondor for the healing house. Eventually Merry would be found and brought to the healing house as well. After being unconscious for many weeks they finally woke from their feverish dreams. Eowyn met Faramir in the halls of the healing house, and it was love at first sight. Elowyn met Eomer in the healing house as well, since he often visited his sister. And the two hit it off as well, quickly falling for each other. Aragorn was crowned the King of Gondor, taking his rightful place. The Fellowship were all there for the coronation. Elowyn stood by the steps with Eomer. Shortly after the coronation Aragorn and Arwen were wed and became Queen and King of Gondor. Eowyn and Faramir married soon after and moved to Ithilien to rule in peace. Elowyn and Eomer are the last to marry and became the King and Queen of Rohan. And peace has finally fallen on Middle Earth.
