Chp. 4 'Grandma'

Hana POV-

I woke up with a heavy headache. I was still feeling a little dizzy. I sat up and checked my phone. I saw 13 missed calls from my brother. I was damn sure he must be angry with me. Instead of calling him, I sent him a message. I quickly took a bath and went to the kitchen. I was very hungry so I opened my fridge. And obviously, my fridge was empty. There were only a few cups of instant noodles. I ate my noodles and went out to buy some groceries.

It was a bright, sunny day. I was walking by the streets. There weren't many people on the road. It was calm and nice. Suddenly I heard someone screaming for help. I followed the voice and entered a park. There, I saw an old lady who was trying to get rid of some thieves who were trying to steal her bag. I called the police and went towards them. I tried to distract them till the police came and arrested them. I went to the old lady and asked her if she was fine. She was wearing jewelry and was looking beautiful. Why do I keep coming across, good-looking people? First that guy and now...

"I am fine dear. Thank you for helping me. You came at the right time." She said with a smile on her face. " It's fine granny. Are you ok? Will you be able to walk to your house?" I asked her.

" I am sorry but...can you please accompany me to my house. I am scared that if something like this happens on my way back. I am sorry-" "Oh no no I don't have any problem." I went to grab my grocery bag and started walking towards her house. On our way, we talked about some random stuff. She asked me my name, age, etc. She also talked about her grandson. How handsome he is, etc etc. Looks like she loves her grandson a lot.

We then reached her place. Her house was hella big and beautiful.

" Can you please come in so that you can meet my grandson and I can also thank you for your help?" she asked me.

" I am sorry but I can't. I have somewhere to go. Maybe next time." Her face showed a tint of sadness but she hide it with her smile." Ok fine. Will you be able to come the day after tomorrow? I am inviting you for a dinner. Please don't say no."

I wanted to deny but after seeing her face I was not able to. " Sure. I will come." Then I gave her my number and I left for my house.

Jimin POV-

I went to my house and had a bath. I wore something good as I was going to meet my granny after so long.

It was a fun night. When I reached my house I didn't see any of my brothers so I thought they must be having fun.

( Timeskip at my granny's house )

I parked my black Mercedes and went inside. I saw my Granny and she gave me a big, tight hug. I missed this hug for so long. She started asking me questions about my health. She doesn't know that I am a secret agent. I told her that I wanted to study more and I live abroad for that but I go on missions.

Granny: " You have become so skinny my Jiminie, come let's eat something. I made your favorite dishes. "

Jimin: " What are you saying, Granny!? I have a great body. So many girls drool over my body!!"

Granny: " Yeah yeah, talking about girls when are you thinking about getting marrie-"

Jimin: " Oh God! I am so hungry let's eat something. I think I am going to faint"

I knew she will bring my marriage topic but I was not hoping this early. So I acted as if I was hungry and cut her off.

At the dinner table

I started eating and Granny was giving me some advice, scolding me, etc. She then told me about the girl who saved her from getting robbed. When I heard that I become angry and also upset.

Jimin: " WHAT!!!!? And you are telling this to me now!? Why did you even go outside without taking anyone with you? What if something bad had happened to you? What was I going to do? You know that you are my everything right!? "

Granny: " That's why I am telling you to get married! So that you will have someone by your side in your happy and sad moments. "

Jimin: " Don't change the topic" my eyes started becoming teary and I was afraid of the thought of something happening to my grandma. She immediately stood up and held me in a hug and started patting my back.

Granny: " I am sorry Jiminie. I won't do it again. I promise"

Jimin:" Don't you dare break the promise or I will never get married."

Granny: " Yahh! That's not fair!!" " It is fair"

We again started eating.

Granny: " Anyway, I have invited the girl for dinner the day after tomorrow. You also have to be present and be polite to her. She is a kind and pretty girl don't you dare try to flirt with her."

Jimin: " Maybe or maybe not"

" WHAT!?"

" Nothing~ hehe"

( Time skip the next day )

Hana POV-

I woke up and decided to go to my work. I was feeling a little weak and had a headache. I took some medicines and went to the cafe. My day was pleasant without any problems. After packing my stuff and biding my colleagues I headed towards my house hoping tomorrow will also be a normal day.

The next day also was normal. I reached the cafe and started working. Just then I received a call from my brother. Kim Taehyung.

On the phone

annoying bro: hey idiot what are you doing? and why didn't you call me? You got a boyfriend or what? but who is that dumb person?

me: can you shut up alien!! I already had a bf but we broke up-

annoying bro: what! why! did he do something to u?

me: he cheated on me-

annoying bro: ok, so be ready tomorrow I am coming there and we will have his funeral. send me his info-

me: Woah! Woah! stop right there. I am ok now you do your work properly.

annoying bro: are you sure idiot?

me: yes alien. bye~ gotta work.

annoying bro: Btw I don't want to say it but I miss u...sometimes.

me: who are you?! where is my alien? did you possess him or what

annoying bro: ok bye bye

me: sorry sorry I miss you too alien. now bye, I have work to do.

annoying bro: Even i am not sitting free here. bye. Hope you don't get a boyfriend~~

me: shut up!
