ahahaaaaaa
this is a very short and not so nicely written oneshot made by me

a ship post!! Luck x OC (named Yasa)
hihi i love them so much<33

the eyes aren't "literal gold". They're just a really nice brown that look like gold when the sun shines on them.
you know those kinds of eyes? They're called 'hazel'

———

"Your eyes are so pretty."

"My eyes?" She asks, the tilt of her head making the shine in them fade for a moment. The radiance came back when she looked ahead once again, where the sun was. It highlighted her irises, now a second time, and my was it a sight for sore eyes.

She then spoke again, "Yeah, they are, aren't they? I only found out about how pretty they were when I stood in front of a mirror once, with the sun seeping through the window blinds."

She then looked back at him and smiled, "cool, aren't they?"

"They.."

Luck was spaced out, and Yasa had only noticed when he saw how his mouth was slightly agape, and his irises wide. She fought the temptation that pleaded for her to insert a treat into his mouth, but she shook a head against the idea. She only urged for him to go on.

"...they?"

"They.."
He gulped once again,
and finally said:

"They shine brighter than any treasure I've laid my eyes on, material and person-wise."

His expression stayed unchanging, and that and his words completely stumped Yasa. The surprise he had— he had given it
and she received it.

Her 'eyes that shone brighter than any treasure' now formed itself into a shape bigger than his peepers made, and it deemed itself a wakeup call for Luck for he regained his composure soon. He strained a laugh, and averted his cobalt stare somewhere else. Away from her mesmerizing eyes for he feared they'd capture him again if he even dare glance at them a second time.

"Sorry.." he apologized, "That was kind of corny, wasn't it." he chuckled again, resting an elbow on the checkered cloth atop the table.
Oh God

He wondered if Yasa thought of him as someone like Finral.

He didn't mean to, honest. He just blurted it out somehow. The words stayed stuck on his throat, and air he didn't even know he held in pushed them and sent it out his mouth. He didn't lie, however. Her eyes did shine brighter than any trove he's seen.

The most magical devices. The most expensive jewelries. The brightest people, old and young.
Never mind holding a candle against her stare ; her ogle could snuff their flames with the weakest puff of air.
Atleast.. that was what he thought.

"Oh no,
It wasn't corny at all, Luck."

She smiled. He knew she did, and oh how badly he was itching to see it.
But he promised himself:no peeking yet.

"Sure, I've heard it someplaces, somewhens before, and I thought it was really.. 'eehh??'. I think they compared it to gold instead of 'treasure'."

"Who's 'they'?" Luck struck his fork to his slice of pie, and watched the red jam ooze from the wound he had caused upon it.

"Multiple guys, which is mildly upsetting. And every single one ended it with a wink or a smirk. Probably the reason why I didn't like the comment much."

He nodded his head, but internally was ready to combust right then and there.
Did she think he was one of those 'guys'?
Just the image of him sending a smirk her way made him want to kill himself. Imagining a wink from him was way worse! He couldn't even blink with just one eye, no matter how hard he tried, and he was glad it stayed that way because him doing it in real life would be way more disgusting than what he sees inside his mind.

"But yours..

Her voice seemed distant. His absurd, Flamboyant Parody Luck'- generating imagination brought him to a place lightyears away, making it impossible to make any sense of what she'd just said.

it's nicer in a way."
There was a chuckle before that, and after that a sound of something metallic picked up from a plate.

Her laugh, it started the engine of his ride that brought him to where he was.
Her words were the fuel that hastened itself to be in the reality from whence he came.

"Maybe it was your face when you said it? It was filled with so much wonder, astonishment maybe... cuteness."

He placed a hand in front and then bent it with his wrist, "owh stowp, yur makin me blush~"
Which, yes. She was making him do so.
His attention was now fully on her again, but he was still avoiding whatever was on her upper figure.

"Oh please, you made me blush. And thank you for that. I haven't done so in a while."

"Though, on a real note, if it was anyone else who said it, it wouldn't be the same, I think. Cute face or not."

"How come?"

Yasa then pondered upon her answer, with a hum and tap of her chin.
and lo and behold, she came up with one.

"maybe.. it's because it's you that said it?"

...him?

He rose his head in surprise, with the same saucer eyes and agape mouth from before.
And with that, he broke his promise
and was once again captivated by her
and her golden eyes.
