You woke up the next morning to Paddy's strong arms wrapped around your waist, making it near to impossible to move.

"Happy birthday" you whispered as you poked the boys cheeks, making him stir. He cracked his eyes open slowly, giving you a tired smile.

"Come on we've got to get up" you said as you stood up, Paddy grabbed your wrist, pulling you back down.

"Since it's my birthday I can sleep in as long as I want, and your warm so you're staying with me" he said as you laid down next to him again.

"Consider me your personal heater then" you chuckled as you ran your fingers through his hair, making him snuggle into you more.

Sometimes he felt like he was crossing a boundary with you, after all, you were his best friend and he was worried that you would push him away if he got too touchy or clingy.

The rest of the Hollands came into the kitchen, Nikki poking her head into the living room. She smiled at the sight before her; you and Paddy wrapped in a blanket, basking in each other's warmth.

"Morning you two" she said as you opened your eyes slowly, giving the woman a tired smile.

"Morning mum" Paddy yawned, "Happy birthday dear" she smiled as you both got up, she pecked her sons forehead.

"Come into the kitchen when you're ready" she said as she disappeared into the kitchen.

You and Paddy quickly ran upstairs, you changing out of your pyjamas and into your brothers trust hoodie before joining everyone downstairs.

They had all relocated to the couches in the living room, each holding a present for Paddy. The boy himself walked in, everyone shouting 'happy birthday'. He chuckled and thanked everyone as he sat down next to you on the couch.

The doorbell rung, Harrison and Tuwaine appearing in the living room seconds later. After they greeted the birthday boy, everyone started to hand him his birthday presents.

Tom, Sam and Harry's joint present for their brother was a ps4, along with the Fifa21 disc, and it was safe to say that he was ecstatic.

He also got money from his parents, a pair of Nike air 27c from Tuwaine and a jacket from Harrison.

You were last to give him your present, slightly worried that he wouldn't like it.

"It's nothing special" you said as you handed him two wrapped gifts.

"Y/n you didn't have to" he smiled as he started to unwrap the bigger present. When he ripped off part of the wrapping paper, revealing the image on the box, he froze. He looked at you and then at the box.

"No you didn't" he said as he continued to unwrap the rest of the box. He let out a gasp as he looked at the box on his lap. You knew he had always wanted a record player, so you saved up enough to buy him one.

He pulled you into a tight hug, making you chuckle, "You didn't have to y'know" he said as he pulled away, you shrugged.

"I know I don't have to but I wanted to, you've been wanting one for the longest time" you said as he opened up the box, taking out the record player before unwrapping the small gift.

"They're our songs" he smiled as he looked at the three vinyl records in his hands.

You and Paddy had a habit of jamming to music at all time, but there were three songs which summed up your friendship; 'Yellow' by Coldplay, 'Rose coloured boy' by Paramore and 'Photograph' by Ed Sheeran.

"Now I understand why you to listen to those songs on repeat" Harry said as you and Paddy smiled at each other.

Nikki walked into the living room, you and Paddy playing wii while the other Holland brothers, Tuwaine and Harrison were sat on the couches talking.

"I have an announcement to make lady and gentlemen" she said as everyone turned to look at the woman standing in the doorway, "We have a dinner reservation at 7:30 so go get changed, dress fancy please" she said as everyone got up and went to their rooms to get changed.

It was quarter past seven when everyone filed into the hallway, you being the last one to come down.

You wiped your hand on your dress as you examined yourself in the mirror. You were wearing a cute red satin dress, even though you had never been the type to wear dresses, but Nikki said to dress fancy so that was exactly what you did.

As you grabbed your purse and phone, you heard your name being called from downstairs.

"Coming" you shouted as you quickly ran down the stairs as you put on your leather jacket. As you joined everyone in the hallway, they all went silent.

"Woah" Sam broke the silence, "You look good Y/n" he complimented you with a smile as everyone else agreed with the boys comments.

Paddy had remained silent the whole time, just looking at you.

"You alright?" you asked as you waved your hand in front of his eyes, making him blink repeatedly.

"Yeah I'm good, just never seen you wear a dress" he said as he looked you up and down, "You look great" he said, making you blush.

"Right let's get going shall we" Dominic clapped his hands, everyone finally walking out the front door and dividing into the two cars; Harrison, Tom, Tuwaine, you and Paddy in one car, and the twins, Nikki and Dominic in the other.

"You know I never would have expected the girl who only wears lounge clothes to wear a dress" Tom said as you all set off, "It suits you" he smiled, which you reciprocated.

"Oh trust me, as soon as we get back I'm changing" you chuckled.

A dress wasn't a very familiar attire for you, you tended to avoid wearing it unless completely necessary, but you weren't going to let Nikki down, so you had to whip out the only acceptable dress you had.

You didn't feel like you, and neither did the clothes you were wearing match your personality, well except the converses you had on. Even your hair was different. You made the effort of straightening it hoping that you catch the youngest Hollands attention, and you sure had.

Paddy hadn't taken his eyes off you the whole time, slightly dumbfound by the fact that you had such an angelic body which you covered up with oversized T-shirts and hoodies.

His phone vibrated in his pocket, making him take his eyes off you as he pulled it out, a text from Harrison lighting up his lock screen. He unlock this phone reading the message the blonde boy had sent him; 'Stop gawking at her ;)' it read, making the boy roll his eyes playfully as he looked back at you.
