Two Peas in a Pod (On Hold)

Reunion

Izuku sat there on top of the roof of the main building with Jirou as they watched the Sun set.

Jirou's head, leaning on Izuku's shoulder, slipped off and fell into his lap as she fell asleep.

Izuku let a smile run across his face as he began to run his hands through her hair.

'Maybe this trip won't end so bad, looks like you got all worn out today' Izuku thought to himself, watching the final moments of the sunset over the tree line.

There was one concerning thing...

He could've sworn he saw someone jumping between tree branches out in the wood, approaching the camp.

Izuku slid one arm under Jirou's leg, the other arm supporting her back as he used his psychokinesis to lower the two of them down off the building and to the ground.

Izuku walked to the girls cabin carrying Jirou. He was about 20 meters away when he heard rustling in the trees.

He elected to ignore the noise, opting to continue on to the cabin.

"Oi Yaomomo are you there?" Izuku whisper yelled through the cracked window of the cabin next to the door.

"Is there something you'd like Izuku?" Momo asked, opening the curtains and looking out at him

"Be a dear and open the door for me please, I don't wanna put Kyoka down to open it and risk waking her" Izuku asked

"Of course Izuku" she said, moving to the door and opening it. "Why didn't you just use your mind to open it?"

"I didn't want to scare any of you, plus Mina would end up screaming if she thought a villain was breaking in.

Mina giggled from her bed, "true that"

"Which bed is Kyoka's?" Izuku asked.

Tsuyu pointed to an empty bed, which Izuku promptly walked over to and tucked Jirou into. He gave her a kiss on the cheek and turned to leave.

"Hey Izuku be careful on your way back" Mina said as he was came over

"Will do" he said giving Mina a hug "night Mina"

"Night Izuku"

"What was that?" Asked Tsuyu

"It's a kinda long story. Refer to Chapter 30" said Mina rolling over and going to sleep.

"Ok..? Tell Mineta I said Goodnight for me please" Tsuyu asked Izuku

"Sure, anything for the two lovebirds" teased Izuku

Izuku said Goodnight to each girl, the exception being Uraraka who has generally been very creepy around him following the whole... incident.

She still had a mark on her forehead from Mineta slamming it into the wall.

Izuku decided it was time to take his leave and closed the door behind him.

He walked through the darkness, doing the best he could to navigate through the dark, eagle eye not being of much assistance either in the dark.

Izuku made it to the Hot springs, turning the lights on in the building.

He got undressed and took his sweet time in the water.

He was at complete peace, no noises bothering him, no classmates yelling, nothing.

For like 20 seconds.

"Hey Izuuuuuuu" said a familiar voice. Izuku couldn't put his finger on it.

"Who's there?" Izuku asked cautiously, readying his fingers to blast away some boiling blood at any foe.

*Thump*

"Been a while" said a voice from directly behind Izuku. A hand ruffled his hair lightly. "Don't you remember me neighbor?"

The identity of the voice hit him like a semi truck barreling down the highway at full speed.

"Himiko?" Izuku exclaimed, jumping up and turning around.

He came into direct eye contact with a pair of of golden irises and a toothy grin from a girl in an oversized cardigan.

Izuku took no time to hug her, not giving her a chance to escape.

Toga laughed hysterically, "cmonnnnn I'm gonna get wetttttt. Let goooo"

"No. How are you here? Shigaraki said you were dead" Izuku said, still not loosening up whatsoever.

"Really? When I left they kinda just made me one of their minions. I've kinda been slaving away for a while but now I'm part of some stupid 'vanguard squad' or whatever. But you should see it! I made my first friend apart from you! His name is Jin and he's insane!"

"THATS GREAT! I'm so glad you get to have friends now" Said Izuku "But does that mean... well... are you gonna fight with my classmates?"

"Well we only need one kid, Bakugo, not sure why though" Himiko said "he sounds like a dick"

"He is"

"Ah"

"Listen... I won't snitch on you because you don't deserve to be locked away twice in your life but if you attack my class and my teachers I won't hesitate to kill each and every one of your new friends" Izuku said shifting back to a cold manner of speech

"Y-yeah... well it was really nice seeing you again I really missed you" Said Toga, turning to flee.

Izuku grabbed her wrist. "You know you could always ask my teachers for help, I'm sure they'd understand you aren't doing this of your own volition"

"No offense Izuku but no matter how strong you heroes are if I betrayed the League something far more dangerous is gonna come and silence me"

"But-"

"No buts, you were a failed experiment at manually replicating that potato guys quirk stealing quirk, well he's succeeded and they are more dangerous than anyone I've ever met. Bye Izuku"

"Bye..."
