'Exactly 4529 seconds until the next test' thought Izuku. He has been counting seconds to keep himself occupied in between tests. Each day he'd wake up at exactly 6 AM and begin to count.
"Hopefully today they only inject me with another quirk." Izuku muttered to himself. Every week the scientists would try inject him with a quirk and then the rest of the week would be borderline torture to see if the quirk was compatible with his body. He stayed in the corner of his cell counting down the seconds. All of a sudden he heard rummaging in the vent system.
"I found the human wing..." said a voice in the vent sounding very scared "there's just one problem. All of them are empty or have a dead kid in them."
"Um hello?" Asked Izuku "is someone there?" He said hopefully.
"One sec I hear a voice." Said the voice in the vent. All of a sudden a head popped out of it. It was the Pro Hero Edgeshot. "I found one." He said tho what Izuku assumed is a comms device. "Kid, we're here to break you out."
"Really?" Izuku said in disbelief. Edgeshot just nodded "THANK YOU. Living here is torture." He said sadly.
"No problem kid but when we get out there's someone who's like to meet you..."
