The Girl who Wiped her Tears

Naomichi and Venti were shocked. "Are you alright Hana?" asked venti. "I guess, but why am I here? Weren't we just by the fountain?" she asked. Venti proceeded to explain what had happened, while Naomichi cleaned all the mess up. "Then I put the vision in your hand and it started glowing! And everything went crazy! Then vines started coming out and the room got REALLY cold! And then your hair started changing color! YOU HAD US SO WORRIED!!!" Said Venti, finishing his explanation. Hana was very confused, she couldn't believe a word Venti said. She looked at her hair, thinking it was all a joke, but it had indeed changed colors. She tried so hard, but couldn't remember anything after telling Venti that she had heard her mom's voice. She looked at the Cryo vision in her hand, and the Dendro vision on her other hand. "So, this Cryo vision, it's my mother's?" she asked. Naomichi was petrified. "Why is it activated if she's not here?" asked Hana, looking at her father. Naomichi looked back at her, with tears on his face, he walked up to her and kneeled down. "So you see, I... I got this letter from your aunt in Liyue.. Your mother.. She was coming to visit here to Mondstadt, but she.. She was attacked by a group of Hilichurls on her way here and was killed. Hana didn't know what to think. She was sad, but for some reason, she was.. Relieved? Hana thought about how she would've reacted if she had seen her mother again after so much time, and came to a conclusion. She would've tried to kill her herself. Ever since the day she had tried to jump from that windmill, she had blamed her mother for leaving her dad alone and in debt. She had seen her father cry at night many times after she left them, but was too young to understand that the feeling she had when thinking about her mother betraying them, was a deep desire to end her life herself.

Naomichi saw a slight grin grow on Hana's face, but also saw tears falling from her eyes. His only instinct was to hug her and comfort her. Hana cried until she fell asleep. Naomichi took her to her bed carefully and laid her there to rest. He walked out of her room and saw that Venti was about to leave. "Wait a second! Please wait!" he asked him. Venti looked back at him and walked back. "I have to thank you, if it wasn't for you, I don't know what would've happened to Hana." he told the bard thankfully. "Don't worry about it, she's a really gentle and caring girl, you did well raising her." replied Venti, before noticing the tears on Naomichi's face. "Thank you, it really means a lot to me that you think so!". Venti smiled back at him, and at that moment, Naomichi noticed something. "You look a lot like the statue of Barbatos near the church you know." said Naomichi. Venti's eyes opened wide. "O-oh really! M-must be the color of the eyes! I mean! The uhhhmm height! Ugh! Uhmmm I mean.. THANK YOU!" He replied nervously. "By the way, you said that you were by the fountain with Hana at 11:30 right? How did you get here so fast?" Naomichi went on. "PLEASURE TO MEET YOU SIR! Tell your daughter that if she wants those lyre classes she can find me by the statue! HAVE A NICE DAY" Shouted Venti, running out of the house swiftly. "Phew, he almost caught me.. Guess I'll have to be careful about my identity" he told himself while he flew out of the house. What he didn't know was that Naomichi had seen him fly away from the window. 

Hana woke up the next morning crying and had to wipe her tears. She tried to not think about what had happened and got ready to go work again at her flower shop. She got to her spot and put some seeds on her pots as usual, and went to get water from the fountain. She watered her seed and tried to grow them, but ended up freezing the entire table. "WOAH!" She Shouted. "Are you okay kid? What happened?" asked the food vendor across the street. "Y-yes I think so.." She answered. One single idea came to her mind: "I have to find Rosaria!". Hana packed up her stuff and ran towards the church. She ran as fast as she could, but started to feel like she was slipping, she looked down and started to see ice wherever she stepped. She ran even faster and went up the last stairs to get to the church. She opened the doors quickly and ran inside. A sister came to ask her what was happening, but she continued running and asking for Rosaria. Reaching the end of the aisle, a sister told her Rosaria was in Diluc's tavern for her free time. Hana ran back through the church corridors as fast as she could, leaving bigger trails of ice every time. She was very scared, but knew the only chance she had was to find Rosaria and ask her how to deactivate the vision, so she kept running. She ran and ran, going through crowds and running through small aisles to get to the tavern. Rosaria was just about to order when she saw the little girl running outside heading to the tavern at full speed. At first, she thought she was being chased by a whopper flower, so she thought quickly and alerted the only person she could think of in that moment, "DILUC, FAST, OUTSIDE OF THE TAVERN". Diluc acted swiftly and followed Rosaria outside, where they saw Hana heading towards them as fast as lightning. Rosaria ran towards Hana and caught her mid jump to stop her from hitting against the tavern. Diluc activated his skill, lighting his claymore on fire, ready for an enemy to appear, but saw nothing going towards them. "IT'S MY VISION! IT WON'T STOP MAKING ICE WHEREVER I GO! HOW DO I STOP IT?" Shouted Hana, not just scared, but exhausted from running. Rosaria started to think of a solution as quick as she could, and was reminded of the time learned how to use her vision. She wouldn't stop freezing everything she touched, and a member of the bandit gang she was in gave have her some hot water to stop her from freezing them too. Her hands and feet were starting to freeze as she held Hana. "Get a cup of water and heat it up Diluc!" said Rosaria quickly. She sounded so sure about this that Diluc didn't even ask further questions and ran inside the tavern to get the cup of water. He ran out seconds later with a cup filled with water, which he heated up using his skill, and gave it to Hana, who was almost completely frozen by this point. "Drink that up kid! Quick!" Hana did exactly as she said. "Now reach into my pocket, I can't move anymore, but you can get there. Take out one of those candies and start chewing." said Rosaria. Hana took one of the candies, and as soon as she chewed it, Rosaria started to de-freeze. "They're made of Jueyun chilis, I eat them whenever I feel angry and it makes my body temperature normalize." she said. "It's so spicy! Ahh!" said Hana, spitting the candy out after chewing it a few more times. The vision had stopped acting up. Diluc ran back inside, grabbed a blanket and put it over Rosaria, who was still covered in ice. "Don't worry Diluc, it's not that cold." she told him. Hana hugged Rosaria. "Thank you! I was so scared I didn't want to hurt you!" Hana then used her Dendro elemental burst and healed Rosaria up. "Stop it kid! It's okay, you saved me last time, this is the least I could do!" said Rosaria. "What just happened?" asked Diluc to Hana. "You just used two different elements, how did you do it?" he continued. "Well it's a pretty long story.." Hana proceeded to tell them what had happened the day before, and they were amazed. "So you have two visions? That pretty cool kid!" said Rosaria. "Why come to me though?" she asked. "Well you're the only person I know of that has a Cryo vision, and you helped me last time when I was in trouble..."

"I'll help you to learn how to use that new vision of yours if you want, come to the tavern at 5pm any day and I'll be here if you want to practice." said Rosaria, putting Hana back on the ground. Hana agreed and thanked Rosaria and Diluc for helping her with her vision. She walked back to her house, and went into her room, where she fell asleep as soon as she put her head on her pillow, after all, she had been running all day, but at least she was going to get to practice with her new vision from now on.
