The Girl and The Archon's Might

7 years later, even with all the scars she had on her hands and knees, Hana is one of the most beautiful women in Mondstadt. She had grown a lot and was pretty tall for an 19 year old. Hana was very strong too, after having practiced for 7  years with the polearm, she had pretty much perfected it, and had her own fighting style. Hana had not only grown stronger, but usually played the lyre with Venti in Diluc's tavern, and had weekly lyre battles in the plaza with other bards that came all the way from Snezhnaya and Fontaine.

One day, after coming back home from work, she ran into Venti, who was talking to a young looking tanned girl in white and beige robes. "Haven't seen you in ages Barbatos." She said in a rather elegant and soft voice. " "Her voice sounds so familiar" thought Hana. When she heard the girl call Venti Barbatos, Hana decided to eavesdrop for a while before asking Venti himself what she meant. "Shhh!!! Someone could hear you Kusanali! People here don't know I'm Barbatos, just call me Venti!" he said, he seemed terrified and was looking everywhere to make sure no one had heard them. "Ahh, I see, Venti is a nice name Barbatos." She said, really calmly. "Well, what can I do for you Kusanali? Surely you didn't come all the way from Sumeru just to say hi to me and to Morax on your way here." He said in a more relaxed tone. "Ah yes, I have come looking for a human. A girl with a Dendro vision. I gave that vision to her almost 14 years ago, and for some reason I keep dreaming about her and the Tsaritsa." she said with the same monotone voice she had earlier. When Venti heard this, he could only think about Hana and her being the only person he knew had a Dendro vision for about 14 years. "You don't look well Barbatos, are you feeling sick?" asked Kusanali. "Y-yeah... I mean, no, I'm okay." he said nervous. "You do realize you can't lie to me right Barbatos? What are you hiding? Do you know the girl I'm looking for?" she asked, now in a more serious and angry voice. "Ahhh, fine, fine, I know her, but at least let me know what you're going to do with her!" he said preoccupied. "For the moment, I don't think I'll make any rash decisions, I'll just ask her some questions, you can come if that makes you feel better Barbatos." she said, once again switching to the monotone voice. "Fine, but seriously stop calling me Barbatos. Call me Venti." he told her again.

The two started heading towards Hana's house at a pretty fast pace. Hana tried to use her Cryo vision to slide to her house and get there faster, but for some reason it didn't want to work, and right when she tried activating it, she got a really hard headache. At the same time, Kusanali got a headache and was about to fall to the ground when Venti caught her. Hana resisted and got home barely on time. Venti knocked on the door and Hana opened it. She wanted to ask Venti about this girl calling him Barbatos, but saw him carrying the girl unconscious in his arms. "Oh my archons! What is happening Venti?" asked Hana. "Sorry to bother you Hana, this girl is, uhhmm, she's a member of my family! She just dropped to the ground all of a sudden ! Could you help me heal her?" He asked, his voice trembling." Yeah for sure lay her on that couch!" Hana used her dendro elemental burst, causing a flower to come out of the ground to heal the girl, but something was different, she felt powerful and her healing became way more effective. Kusanali woke up instantly. "WOAH! What was that?!" exclamated Hana after feeling the power  flowing through her veins. "You received my blessing, child." said Kusanali. "I'm not sure how, since I was unconscious, but somehow you used my own power and healed me. This shouldn't be possible." She said, confused. "What do you mean with your blessing?" asked Hana, just as confused as her. "Right, how rude of me, let me introduce myself and my friend. I am Kusanali, the current Dendro archon, and this is Barbatos, the Anemo Archon. It is a pleasure to finally meet you in person, my child." She said with a smile on her face. Venti's expression went blank, as the room went quiet. "... WHAT IS SHE TALKING ABOUT VENTI?!" Shouted Hana, surprised. "W-well, yeah I'm the uhhm... I'm Barbatos, the anemo archon." he said in a low voice. "Hahahahahaha that's a good one, really well planned Venti. I almost fell for it." Venti's expression was more serious than ever. "I'm afraid to say it's not a joke Hana." he explained. "I originally left Mondstadt since I wanted you all to have real freedom, you can't do that with an Archon constantly telling you what to do and think." Hana was very confused, but listened as Venti explained everything. "So my lyre teacher and duet was an archon all this time?!" she said as Venti nodded slowly. "So you really are Archons, and you were the one who gave me my Vision..." she asked. "That is indeed correct. I felt touched by your feelings that day, and thought you were going to die, so my first reaction was to give you a vision as quickly as possible so that you could at least save yourself." replied Kusanali with a smile. "Well, thank you so much for giving me my Vision! And for saving me hahah! I really appreciate it!" said Hana happily. "There is no need to thank me. The moment you jumped from that windmill, I felt it all the way from Sumeru, it was your emotions that called out to me. But anyways, for now, I have come to talk about something else. Lately I've been having these strange dreams with you and the Tsaritsa" replied Kusanali. " Wait, you have had some weird dreams too? I just remembered where I knew your voice from, I've heard it in my dreams! I also saw this woman in a big palace , it seemed like a very cold Throne room, I guess it could've been the Tsaritsa since she is Snezhnaya's ruler." said Hana. "Interesting, I thought I'd come look for you just in search of answers, but now that I've met you, I see you have two visions too, that intrigues me too. How did you come across your Cryo vision? When I gave you your Dendro vision you didn't have it." Asked Kusanali. Hana proceeded to explain what happened that day, and Venti added some details to the story. "So it was your mothers and you revived it? Such a bizarre experience, yes, it is the first time I hear of such an anomaly indeed, I shall look into this matter. It also seems that since I was the one to channel my power through you to use your burst and save you with your flower, you were linked to my power itself, making you able to use my power when I'm not making use of it. This also somehow linked our minds making us share those dreams, of course this is just another theory I have to look into... Another thing to look into... Hana, would you mind if I stayed here in Mondstadt with you until we find what this is all about?" said Kusanali in a serious tone. "What?! I mean! Yes! Sure! I just don't think my house will be comfortable enough for you Lady Kusanali!" Said Hana nervous. "Don't worry about me, research is more important than where you stay. I've stayed in caves and places with no accomodation at all, your house is no problem at all for me." replied Kusanali. Hana thanked Lady Kusanali and accepted her request. "Let me know if you two need anything and I'll help! said Venti, as he reached towards the door and left the house. Hana took Lady Kusanali to a spare room where she put some books and research tools she had brought with her from Sumeru. Once she was done accommodating Herself in the room, she was able to catch the scent of food coming from the kitchen, where Hana was preparing her specialty dish, Quesadillas with ham and vegetables. The smell was so pleasant that Lady Kusanali sneaked behind Hana and observed as she prepared the Quesadillas.

"You want me to show you how to make them?" Said Hana in a happy tone.

"I would appreciate it if you did, it smells particularly good." Hana made some extra quesadillas to show Kusanali the process of how these were made. "So you use meat for this dish?" asked Lady Kusanali. "Yup! Could it be that you don't like meat? I'll make you some without ham!" said Hana. "There's no problem with the meat, in fact, I like meat a lot, I'm just used to vegetarian dishes since they don't have to be heated up as much and I can carry them easily on my research expeditions." explained the archon. "I see, well let me know what you think!" said Hana, handing Lady Kusanali a hot quesadilla. Kusanali took a small bite from it, followed by a bigger bite, and an even bigger one. "These are so good!!!! E-eh...umm...Excuse me, these taste delicious, may I have one more?" she corrected herself. "Sure!" replied Hana. They heard sounds at the door. "I'm home Hana!" said Naomichi as he walked into the house. "Oh? You have visits? Whose this little girl?" he asked. "WHO ARE YOU CALLING LITTLE YOU BRAT?!?!?!" shouted Kusanali furious. "DAD!!! L-let me present you to the Dendro archon Herself, Lady Kusanali!" Shouted Hana. "She will be staying with us for a while, so please be respectful!" she continued. At first Naomichi thought Hana was joking, but his smile left his face when he saw his daughter's face more serious than ever. "I'M SO SORRY FOR MY DISRESPECT LADY KUSANALI!" he said with his face covered in terror. "Hmph, I'll let it pass, but just because your daughter is very special for my investigation." Said Kusanali with a pout.
