The Girl and The Shadow Corpse

(This was written on Halloween, not too spooky but just a tiny bit, so yeah :3 )

The moon's brightness was hitting the windows in Beidou's cabin, and everyone was asleep. It's brightness reflected on Hana's face, as she slept and dreamed.

"Wake up Hana!! Hurry! The boat is sinking! Please wake up!" Hana laid on her improvised bed, opened her eyes, but couldn't say a word, couldn't move a muscle. She could only move her eyes, but not close them. She looked around the room confused, and saw the silhouette of Kusanali in front of her. "She won't wake up, let's just leave her here." said Kusanali. Hana saw as the water started coming into the cabin, and she was covered in water slowly after. She couldn't breath and started to panic, trying to shout for health, but it didn't work. She shouted and shouted, until her lungs gave out and she was out of breath. But Hana could still not move, and with the corner of her eye, she saw a shadow walking to her. As it came close to her, she was able to see the creature more clearly. Hana was terrified, the creature couldn't have been more scary, she saw this tall person, head completely destroyed and bloody, leaving a trail of blood where it walked through. It got closer to Hana, who now was desperately trying to call for help, but the words and noises just wouldn't leave her mouth. Hana couldn't help but watch how the blood covered creature reached over to her and started to strangle her.

At that moment, she felt a soft warm hand on her shoulder. "Wake up Hana! Are you okay?!" said Beidou worried. Hana could now breath and move again, but she felt so out of breath she had to sit up in a jump and breath frantically. "I heard a sound and I saw you here not breathing! What the hell happened?" asked Beidou. Beidou saw the terrified look in Hana's face, she seemed traumatized. She lit a candle and put it inside a lamp, lighting up the room. Kusanali was still sleeping peacefully in her small bed, not noticing anything. Hana looked at Beidou with dead eyes, almost petrified. "I-... I saw it, I know I saw it, please tell me it's not here anymore, please tell me you got rid of it..." said Hana, putting her head on Beidou's shoulder, she started to cry right there, unable to get rid of the image of the creature she had just seen. Beidou saw how scared Hana was, so she took her in her arms and laid her on her bed, where she sat and put Hana's head on her lap. Hana laid there until the sun came back up, and Beidou took care of her until she fell asleep as the sun rose that day. When Hana woke up, she was being hugged tightly by Beidou, who had her pressed with strength but also with care against her chest to keep her close and warm. "What is this?!" she asked herself. It was now 9 am. Hana Barely moved but Beidou woke up, and saw Hana was right in front of her face. "Ahhhhh good morning Hana..." Beidou saw how she was holding Hana and immediately tried to stop hugging Hana like a plushie, but Hana reacted immediately too and hugged Beidou even harder as she let some tears fall down her eyes. "Thank you so much... I was so scared, I thought I was going to die right then and there." she said. Beidou just smiled back and returned the hug.
