The Girl and The Stormy Seas

Beidou got up and prepared some breakfast for Hana and Kusanali. 

"That was really good Beidou!" said Hana. "Glad you liked it! Well now that we're done eating I'll go work, see you later at your lyre presentation Hana! Can't wait to listen to your singing!" said Beidou excitedly. "Ah yeah! I'll be practicing for that!" she replied. Beidou left, and Kusanali did too after getting ready to take notes for the entire day again. Hana took her lyre out and practiced until night time came. She walked towards the main deck, where the crew started gathering and sitting down, ready to listen to Hana. "There you are Hana! I told the crew about this activity and it seems like they're all here!" said Beidou with a smile on her face. Hana smiled back Blushing and took her lyre out as she walked towards the center of the audience. She felt very nervous, not because of the crew, she had had way bigger audiences in Mondstadt, but specifically because of Beidou who seemed so excited to listen to her. Even with her heart beating faster than ever, Hana started singing:

"The ship in which the whole crew sailed by,

 the beaches with the absence of clouds in the sky,

It looked as mighty as ever while the crew worked hard to make it through

The seas, reflecting the light of day,

The beautiful scenery on their way,

Their work they had to get done before they could be under the moon's shining light."

Everybody clapped and asked for another song, so Hana cleared her throat and continued with a more energetic song.

"The waves in the sea mark your heartbeat, 

the sun in the sky is your clock here, 

take your eyes off from the ground and look up, you're on your way

Let the wind take you to your destiny, fulfill your fate, 

stand strong like stone on ground, take your time, just don't be too late.

Take the first step, protect your friends, fight forward, no regrets,

No matter what happens you'll take your place with will and strength."

Everybody was amazed, it was the first time in a while that they heard such an upbeat and fun song to sing along to. The rest of the night, the whole crew had a feast, everyone talked over each other and it was a mess, but it was a new experience and Hana quite liked the liveliness the place had, but as anyone who is not used to parties, she got tired after a while and went to her room to rest. On her way back to her room, she saw Beidou acting a bit suspicious near the room, and decided she should see what she was doing before just asking her. Beidou was dressed as nicely and neatly as ever, but she was looking even more beautiful that night. She seemed nervous, almost worried, and held a small bag in her hands. She was looking everywhere, like she was trying to find someone, but couldn't find anyone. "I leave just to get ready and now I can't find her?! I can't believe my luck." said Beidou, sitting down against the wall and putting her face between her arms. Hana could feel the scent of Beidou's perfume all the way from where she stood, almost 15 feet away from Beidou. It had a sweet and elegant scent. "Maybe I should go check on her," thought Hana. She walked up to Beidou slowly and put her hand on her head "Are you okay Captain?" she asked while raising Beidou's chin up.             "H-Hana?! What are you doing here?!" said Beidou, her sad face Blushing and growing a smile. "I'm not used to being around so many people, so I was going to our room to rest for tomorrow." replied Hana. "Oh I thought you people in Mondstadt were used to parties" said Beidou confused. "Ahh yes most people are, but we didn't have much money in my family so we couldn't attend big events." said Hana in response. "Oh yeah yeah. Well I'm not that big of a party person either." Said Beidou. "AH I ALMOST FORGOT! Here! Take this!" Beidou handed Hana the bag she was carrying. "I got it from one of my journeys and I thought it'd look good on you! Of course t-that's only I-if you like it" she added. Hana opened the bag and found a bracelet inside, it had mint like colored gems on it, and the bracelet itself was made of gold. "I-is this really for me Beidou?! I-I don't think I could thank you enough for this, I-..." said Hana. "D-do you like it Hana?" asked Beidou looking at the ground, trying to hide her blushing face. Hana put her finger on Beidou's chin and raised her head to look at her. "I love it, thank you so much for thinking of me!" said Hana as she hugged Beidou. Beidou was very happy. So happy she even let some tears out her eyes, but was able to get herself together before Hana saw her. "So, should we go sleep?" asked Hana.

"Y-yeah let's do that!"

They walked over to their room, where Kusanali was already sleeping.,

It started raining as soon as they entered Beidou's cabin. "Uhmm Beidou... Mind if I... mind if I sleep with you tonight too?!" asked Hana nervously. Beidou was in shock, but said yes by instinct almost immediately. After all, Hana was still scared of what she saw the night before. They got ready and went to bed after turning off the lights. They laid there for about 10 minutes, when Beidou tried to turn around to see if Hana was asleep, but Hana did the same, they turned completely and their eyes locked, they hadn't realized their lips did too. They both backed up immediately, "I'M SO SORRY I DIDN'T KNOW YOU WERE TURNING AROUND TOO! " said Hana. "I'M SO SO SORRY! I THOUGHT YOU WERE ASLEEP!" said Beidou. Hana could see how red Beidou's face was in the light of the night's moon, and could feel how blushed she was just from the warmth emanating from her face. "I really didn't mean to, I'm so sorry!" said Beidou. "D-don't worry, I-it wasn't bad actually..." said Hana blushing even more. She was also able to see how surprised Beidou was. Hana moved Beidou's hair from her face and put it behind her ear. "Let's go back to sleep, we can talk tomorrow." she said. "Y-yes let's do that..." Beidou said, laying down on her bed. Hana put her arm around Beidou, and kept hugging her tightly until they both fell asleep on that stormy night.
