A year passes by, and Hana's routine stays the same, wake up at 6am, set up her stand at 7am, sell flowers until 11:30am, lunch, play the lyre with Venti at 12pm, sell flowers again from 1pm-4:30pm, go to Cryo vision practice with Rosaria and Diluc at 5pm,go home at 9pm.

It was December now and Hana's birthday was coming up. Naomichi wanted to do something special for her, so he looked for the people she spent time with the most. Just following Hana, he went asking person by person if they'd like to make a surprise party for her in 2 weeks. After one week had passed, he had already gathered about 50 people, just asking anyone she talked to through the day. On Monday of the second week, he walked over to Diluc's tavern not far from their house, and saw Rosaria, Diluc, Venti, and a tanned blue haired man sitting with them. He walked inside and greeted them all. "Hello! I'm Hana's father." He said. "Three of you I've met before, but Diluc is the only one I know well, nice to officially meet you guys!". They all greeted him back and asked if he wanted to take a seat with them. Naomichi accepted and asked: "Umm well you all see, I'm planning a surprise party for Hana, her birthday is in a week from now and I was wond-"

"Say no more! We'll go!" said Venti without hesitation. Rosaria and Diluc nodded their heads, while the blue haired man stood up and introduced himself. "It is a pleasure to meet you, please call me Kaeya, I'm a knight of Favonius. I met your daughter formally about one month ago after Rosaria talked to me about her. I gotta say she's pretty talented for her age!" he said. "Oh wow, a knight of Favonius!!" said Naomichi, surprised. "You say it as if they were special, so inefficient those so called "knights" of Favonius" said Diluc right after. Rosaria and Venti left out a little laugh. Kaeya shrugged and laughed too. "Well anyways, I hope I can come too!" said Kaeya. "Of course! You all are invited! Actually if you know of anyone else who might want to join the party please let them know it'll be next Monday at 11:30 in the main Plaza." said Naomichi. "You got it man!" said Venti excited.

Venti saw as Naomichi left the tavern, and everyone else kept on talking normally. He noticed the silhouette of a man in the window. It was Naomichi, telling him to go outside for a moment.

Venti got up from the table, "I'll go take a deep breath outside for a sec, be right back!" he said, going towards the door. Everyone nodded and kept on talking. Venti got out of the tavern and saw Naomichi in one of the tables on the side of the tavern waiting. "What happened, Naomichi? Need anything else?" asked Venti. "Umm well I just wanted to ask you about something I saw a little less than a year ago... How do you control Anemo without having an actual vision?" replied Naomichi with a serious face. "How did you know this is a fake one?!?" asked Venti, surprised and confused. "Let's just say I've seen my fair share of fake visions, you know, Inazuma...? He responded not long after. "There are only 2 possibilities, either you are a Fatui using a delusion, or you're Barbatos." he continued. Venti reached to his chest and pulled out his gnosis. Naomichi was amazed by what he was seeing, it looked like it was made out of a bright material, and its shape was similar to that of a chess piece. "I knew it!! I knew I hadn't just imagined seeing you fly away from my house." he said excitedly. "WAIT THAT'S HOW YOU KNOW?" asked Venti, disappointed in himself. "Guess I gotta be more careful about that... Anyways! Please don't tell anyone! To them I'm just a normal drunkard that works as a bard!" he continued. "Don't worry Venti, it's enough for me to know that my daughter is friends with an archon!" said Naomichi with joy. "That's a relief! Well I'll head back inside, they'll start to get suspicious if I go away for too long!" said Venti. The two parted ways, and Naomichi was officially done inviting people. 

Hana's Birthday arrives, and it's officially Hana's birthday. She gets out of bed and follows her routine, just as she has been doing for the past month and a half. She went to the kitchen and made herself and her dad some quesadillas, a dish she had perfected after having to make her own breakfast for years. She got her bag ready with her seeds to go work at her flower stand, when she saw a small box on the kitchen table and got closer to take a look, finding a letter that was left on top of the box, which read:
