"Where are they!?" Linda kicked her chair, pushing back her tangled, half showered hair. "I made sure that they were properly drugged! They should not have gone far without collapsing! So why the fuck can't you find them!" she screamed at the guards.

"My Lady, I'm so sorry we disappoint you," one of the guards said, bowing lower, if that was even possible. "I promise, we'll catch them, even if we have to travel the world and to the moon. We will turn every rock and every blade of grass and-"

"Then get out there and do it!"

The guards simply bowed lower still, got up, and went out in search of this person that was causing their Mistress such stress.

Linda sighed, grabbed her chair from where she kicked it and sat in it, pressing her hands to her face. Thinking.

Suddenly, outside her door was a commotion. She quickly rightened herself and composed her expression. The door seemingly exploded off its hinges as Nine was dragged in by seven other guards.

He was in Legacy blocked chains that were charged with a little of Linda's toxic pheromones. Her kind used their pheromones on most creatures, blocking their touch to access their powers. Whether that be Loric's or Deathlings, it puts a barrier between themself and their power.Nine was struggling with all his might, using all his resources, his teeth, his nails, his head, to fight back. One of the guards raised a baton and whacked Nine over the head, hard. He stilled for a bit, fading in and out of consciousness, but he recovered, but not until another guard dragged him over to a pair of shackles in the wall, chaining him there.

"What is this all about?" Linda asked, raising an eyebrow to the scene playing out before her.

"Sorry, my-" cutting himself short, one of the guards coughed and resumed, "Sorry Principal, he was seen messing with your room and office."

"I did not!" Nine yelled, regaining himself, shaking the chains. "You have no proof!"

"On the contrary, the camera's show him entering your room and your office, disturbing everything," while the guard was speaking, Linda went pale. She did not expect that this rat would enter her private chambers, the one space that could reveal the whole plan. She fought to stop a sob as she trembled from rage.

"You what?" she finally hissed, barely holding onto her rage. "Show me the camera," Linda commanded her guards.

The TV on the right turned on, showing footage from yesterday. It showed a very clear Nine entering the room that belonged to Linda. The camera perspective switched to the office entrance, again, showing Nine that he entered her office. The TV then turned off.

Linda stayed silent, fumming as she relized that her plan and secret were footsteps away from being revealed. She needed a better place to put the papers, but first, to deal with the fucking rat.

"I can't believe that you would do that," she started, softly sighing. "I thought you were better than that, Nine. You seemed like a very respectable man, one that wouldn't creep up on someone like me."
