"where on earth did you find her?" you hear tammy ask. "jesus, calm down. we met at my bar, she's gonna work there now." you hear tammy sigh. "lou, are you sure about this?" now lou sighs. "of course i'm sure, she was smart enough to get into college." tammy has a quick response, "smart enough to drop out." the car comes to a silent stop. you open your eyes a tad, then sit up. "i didn't drop out for any other reason then my parents," you state. tammy turns around to look at you, slightly embarrassed. "i'm sorry- i thought you were sleeping-". you shake your head. "you do have a point, sort of, i was just tired of the stress. if you don't want me here, i'm more than happy to go." lou shakes her head and turns around too. "you're not going to go back there." tammy adds, "i agree with lou. it's late and you had a lot to drink. please let us give you a place to stay." you smile. "okay, you've convinced me." you look out of the window. "woah, is that it? it's huge..." tammy laughs. "oh lou you didn't tell her?" you look back at tammy and lou. "tell me what?" tammy continues to laugh while lou sucks her teeth in the rearview mirror. "we live with 6 other women." your mouth drops. "so wait," you start counting on your fingers. "8 women?!"
"that's crazy," you say, obviously out of it, as tammy and lou help you into the house. they open the door to reveal a large house. "woah-oh-oh" you say, laughing. lou laughs at your amazement. "who is this?", asks a woman sitting on the couch. she has a pair of glasses on the tip of her nose. "she's-" tammy starts. "oh! you're so cute," you say plopping down next to her. "i'm (y/n) (y/l/n)." you extend your hand. "what's your name?" the woman's demeanor becomes more soft and opening. she smiles and chuckles as she takes your hand in hers. "i'm rose wiel." your mouth opens, agape. "the rose wiel?" you turn to lou shocked. "you live with one of the best fashion designers of this era? i'm going to faint..". rose begins to laugh even more. "flattery is the best compliment." you lean over to see what she was working on. "that's absolutely incredible," you say in awe. you pop up off the couch. "could i be your model? i know i don't have the 'ideal' body, but it can work somehow-" lou comes over and drags you up the stairs. "oh goodnight!" you call down to rose. "she's drunk," tammy tells rose. "figures," rose responds. "i still like her though, sweet girl. we need to keep her around 24/7." tammy and rose begin to laugh.
lou leads you into her room. "aww this is so cute," you say looking around. "do you want some pajamas?" lou asks, walking over to her dresser. you look down at your clothes. "it's okay." lou tosses a shirt and some shorts at you. you begin pulling off your clothes. "woah-" lou says, turning around before getting a good look. "oh sorry," you chuckle. you slip off your pants and put on the ones lent to you. you flip your head upside down, gathering your hair into a messy bun on the top of your head. "are you decent?" lou asks with her back turned. "mhm," you mumble. lou turns around and smiles at you. "what?" you ask jokingly. "they look better on you than they do on me." you shake your head. "nah." lou smirks and she walks over to the bed, pulling back the covers. "hop in," she says. "where are you going to sleep?" you ask. "right next to you, if that's okay." you nod. you slip underneath the covers, pulling them over your body up to your chin. her bed was so soft and warm. lou brings her trashcan next to the side of the bed you were sleeping on. you begin to yawn. lou turns off the lights. "i'm going to go get into some pjs," she says, going into her bathroom. "sleep on your side!" she shouts from the bathroom. "aye-aye captain!" you respond. you close your eyes and slowly drift off to sleep.
an aching pain comes shooting from your stomach. you bolt awake, leaning over the side of the bed to throw up into the can. after you were finished, you looked around. where the fuck were you? you look next to you, only for there to be no person there. you pull the covers off your body and step shakily onto the floor. you look at the clothes you were wearing. noticing how they weren't yours. you go over to your pile of clothes on the floor, noticing lou sleeping next to them, on the floor. you grab your clothes and change back into them. you glance down at lou and smile. you grab a blanket from a chair and place it over her sleeping body. you quietly tiptoe down the stairs, your shoes in your hands. once you reached the front door a voice from behind you startles you. "good morning!" you turn around, petrified. it was a blonde woman who looked vaguely familiar. she eyed the shoes in your hands. "uhum, morning.." you respond unsure. "would you like some breakfast?" she asks motioning towards the kitchen. you nod and place your shoes next to the front door, along with the other pairs.
you follow the blonde into the kitchen, breathing in the delightful smells of something cooking. "smells great," you compliment. the woman grabs a pill bottle from a cabinet, shaking 2 pills in her hand. she hands them to you. "for the hangover." you nod. "about that, i don't mean to sound rude, but where exactly am i?" you ask. she smiles. "well, you're at ocean's house." and like some sort of magic, it all clicked. "the house with 8 women?" you ask. "i didn't dream that?" the woman chuckles. "i'm afraid not." you nod. the woman hands you a cup of coffee. "oh, thank you so much .." you say, looking for a name for this vaguely familiar woman. "tammy," she adds. "right, tammy." you repeat. "i apologize, i don't really remember much from last night." tammy nods. "you were pretty hammered." you groan. "i always forget i have limits." you and tammy have a laugh. "you are completely different when you're sober." you nearly choke on your coffee. "oh yeah, i heard that i'm quite the character when i'm drunk," you laugh. "drunk for a 20-year old," tammy says, taking a sip of her coffee. shit. "id," she says. "i was making sure you weren't some crazy lunatic or underaged." you nod, remembering how your cuts were exposed. tammy must've read your mind or something because she then said, "i saw them." she eyes your wrists. "i know i don't know you, but i hope that you decide to stay so i can get to know you better to help with that." you bite your cheek. "thanks," you say, feeling slightly uncomfortable with the amount of knowledge tammy had about you. not even your best friend knew about your self harm. tammy raises an eyebrow at you. "do you want to talk about it?", she asks.
