"This...you...I don't even know what to call this," the raven-haired angel paced the rooftop of the hospital, "You royally fucked up here." He stopped, looking at Jimin and Namjoon in exasperation, "She can see you?"

"I don't know, Jin," Namjoon admitted, looking defeated, "It certainly seems that way."

"It CeRtAiNlY sEeMs ThAt WaY," Jin mocked, his frustration getting the best of him, "You know or you don't. We can't waste time guessing, Joon."

"She can," Jimin interjected, "I have no idea how, but she can."

"How?" Jin threw his hands up, immaculate face contorting in confusion, "What did you do?"

"We brought her back," Namjoon looked at his superior in confusion, "You said we needed to fix it, so we fixed it."

"But how?" Jin waved his hands, "Extra buzz in the defib? Faster ambulance? Reach in and pump her heart a few times?"

"We can do that?" Jimin looked at Jin with wide eyes, "The heart thing?"

"I think so!" Jin nearly screeched, "I don't know! And do you know why I don't know?"

"Because you've never lost a charge on accident," Jimin answered with bashfulness.

"BECAUSE I'VE NEVER LOST A CHARGE ON ACCIDENT!"

"We get it," Namjoon hung his head in shame.

"Do you?" Jin calmed himself as best he could, "Just tell me what you did. I need answers, not apologies."

"We gave her some...spark."

"Spark? You don't mean..."

"Yeah," Namjoon held his hands out casually, "Just a tiny bit of our spark...so she could...y'know..."

"You. Fucking. MORONS!" Jin's face was the very mask of anger as he screamed, setting off a few car alarms on the streets below, "You just Lazarused the sad chick? You gave her SPARK?"

Both angels flinched at Jin's tone, nodding their heads to give him confirmation and reason to scream again wordlessly. They stared silently, not wanting to give him any more reason to lose the cool he was trying so hard to gain.

"I....fuck...goshdamnit!" Jin tried to ground himself, finding it difficult to gain control of his emotions every time he looked at the guilty expressions of his wards while doing so, "Okay. Okay...yes okay." He looked at them, his expression darkening and face hardening as he stood to his full height, "I'll handle this...well, as much as I can." He gave them both a glare that cut off their celebration, "We don't talk about it," he warned, "I'll do what I can with your sad girl, but you have to do the rest. You have to figure this out. If not...I don't know what they'll do. You know how it worked out for Lazarus' savior in the end."

Ollie walked through the library, looking at the rows and shelves of book, unable to make out the titles but loving the aged covers and bindings. She turned as she heard soft footsteps behind her, bringing her face-to-face with an indescribably handsome visage. The man smiled softly, plump lips turning up gently, making Ollie feel warm and comforted.

"Hey there," he offered, his voice neither deep nor pitched, making her think he probably had a lovely singing voice, "Can we talk?"

"Umm, I guess so?" Ollie didn't know the man, just the feeling that he gave.

He smiled again, the action warming her heart like a hug from someone you love, motioning for her to follow as he walked to a couple of overstuffed sitting chairs. He waited for them both to be seated, leaning forward comfortably and resting his elbows on his knees as he spoke.

"First off, I want to say how sorry I am, Olivia."

"Sorry?" her nose wrinkled in confusion, "Sorry for what? I don't even know you."

"I know you don't," he chuckled lightly, "Let's start there, then. I'm Seokjin. Jin for short, or more commonly known," he reached his hand forward for her to shake, "I'm a higher-level of the lowest level of what you know as Angels." He took her hand as she tried to retrieve it in shock, "Trust me, Olivia, I'm just trying to explain."

Ollie felt a gentle buzz run up from where their hands touched, calming her nerves and erasing her trepidation. It filled her with the knowledge that he was honest, hard as it was to believe, and with a need to hear him out.

"Little bit of angel magic," Jin winked, "Keeps an open mind."

"Okay," Ollie nodded, letting his words sink in, "What do you have to say, then?" She looked around to make her point, "Why am I dreaming of handsome angels?"

Jin grinned, "Handsome. I knew you were smart," he winked again, "Sad, but smart." He went back to his original position, keeping her attention, "Like I said, the first thing I need to do is apologize. You wouldn't have died if we'd done our jobs right. You wouldn't be in the hospital, and you wouldn't be hurting." He gave her a pitying expression as she scrunched her eyebrows, "You weren't scheduled to die," Jin explained, "Your...guardians...they weren't paying good enough attention," he shrugged, "They probably just thought your husband was being himself, once again, and had no idea the danger you had put yourself into." He clapped his hands together lightly, "Regardless, it's on us, and now...there are...I guess we'd call them side effects."

"S-side effects?"

"The guys you keep...seeing..." Jin suddenly seemed a bit nervous, "The ones you see sometimes but then don't other times? Those are...well you're not supposed to see them," he pursed his lips, "Or hear them. But they're...idiots...such fucking idiots -"

Ollie gasped, "Did you just cuss?"

Jin tilted his head innocently, "Yes?"

"But you said you're an angel!"

"Yes?"

"Angels can curse?!"

Jin laughed, making Ollie do the same at the sound, "We can't curse," he explained, "Like I can't damn anyone, I can't use the name of the Almighty in vain," he winked playfully, "And no smiting...above my paygrade. BUT," he sat up straight again, "Cussing? That's perfectly allowed."

"But -"

"It's just words, Olivia," Jin shook his head, "Humans decided certain words are bad while others are acceptable, but they're just words. Fuck, shit, bitch, dick, -"

"Okay, I get it!"

"- just a bunch of words that don't mean anything," he finished with a smile. He steepled his fingers together, resting his elbows on his knees, "But, as I was saying, the fucking idiots - their names are Jimin and Namjoon, by the way - they're the ones you're seeing. They're your guardian angels. Shit at their jobs, obviously, and too curious for their own good..." he paused on a breath, "But yes....your guardian angels nonetheless."

Ollie looked at Jin incredulously, "You realize this sounds insane, right?" she gestured around her vaguely, "This is most likely just some crazy dream induced by the painkillers the hospital keeps giving me."

Jin looked at her with a knowing smile, "Maybe," he agreed, "But I think you know that I'm telling you the truth." He laughed again, shaking his head, "Besides, seems oddly specific, doesn't it?"

"Unless they're also a result of the meds...or the crash?"

"Maybe," he repeated, pursing his lips, "I guess only you can figure it out for yourself, in the end." He smiled warmly, standing and giving her the impression that the conversation had come to a close, "You can talk to them," he nodded at her surprised expression, "You can see them and hear them, and they can see and hear you."

"Talk to them?"

Jin shrugged, "Worth a shot."

Back on the roof, Jin opened his eyes and looked at the worried angels pacing the space in front of him.

"I've done what I could."
