"You're a dick."
Jin didn't bother with greetings as he burst through Hoseok's office door, "I know it's been a while...you probably forgot about it in your need to be seated up on your high horse, but I wanted to be fucking awesome when I came to tell you what an asshole you are," he held his arms out, open wide in defiance, "So here I am."
"I haven't forgotten," Hoseok sighed, leaning back in his chair, "And I know you didn't fall because of the Council. You chose this."
"Bein a doctor doesn't make you smart -"
"Technically, yes it does -"
"Shut up." Jin glared at the other man, "Intelligent isn't necessarily smart," he scoffed, "That's something I've learned in the past couple of months being human. You can have all the intelligence in the world, but it takes smarts to live on these streets."
"You're wearing a Givenchy shirt," Hoseok rolled his eyes, "You're hardly living on the streets, Jin."
"These proverbial streets," Jin put his hands on his hips, "The ones where we had to learn to be human, without even a text from the guy who brought us here."
"Again," Hoseok crossed his arms over his chest, "You chose to fall Seokjin."
"Because I couldn't just leave them out here!" the broad angel finally lost his cool, "They didn't ask for this, you did! And you sure as shit weren't going to take responsibility!"
"You don't know that!" Hoseok fired back, "I don't even know that!"
"But you knew what would happen when you ratted them out! You knew what they would become, how confused they would be! You knew, and you still tattled, without even making an attempt to be around them when they changed!"
"What do you want from me?" Hoseok pleaded angrily, hands out stretched out to the sides, "To admit I fucked up? Because I did. I know that. It doesn't change anything, so what do you want me to do now?"
"How the fuck should I know?" Jin shook his head in defeat, "I'm still learning myself. I have no idea what they need to know or how to teach them half of the stuff I know they need to know." He looked at his old friend with pain in his eyes, "Shouldn't you take some responsibility here?"
Hoseok nodded, "You're right. I had a heavy hand in this, I should step up."
"Finally."
"Please don't test my patience," Hoseok pinched the bridge of his nose in exasperation. "You're as insufferable as ever."
Jin chuckled, dropping into the chair on the opposite side of Hoseok's desk casually, "If anything, I'm worse," he admitted, "Heavenly being in a this immaculate human form, hot boyfriend, charming as all fuck. You're smart, or at least intelligent, you do the math."
A loud laugh erupted throughout the room, "I hate that I missed you this damn much."
"Well we finally have time to catch up," Jin laughed back, "I'm sure you'll miss the times you missed me soon enough."
