The Escape

You lay awake in your bed, the events of what you did still flashing in your head. You remember his pleas for mercy, the look of defeat in his eyes when he saw you with Michael, and most importantly. You remember the sound of the gunshot as you pulled the trigger.

You remember how sad and upset Kartana looked when she ran away from what happened. It was almost time for you to wake up, but there were two things you had to do first.

You walked over and opened your drawer and got out the building plans and list of names. You went over the building plans for a a while and mentally put the images of the weak points in your head.

You got dressed and opened your door, only to be faced with "him" again.

Michael: Hello, Y/N.

You: Hello, Michael.

Michael: I dropped by to give you something. Kartana, Zack, and Yang are all awake and are waiting for you at the moment.

You: So what is it you wanted to give me?

Michael pulls something out of his pocket and hands it to you. You looked at the item and noticed that it was a keycard with your name and picture on it.

You: You're... Giving me a keycard?

Michael: It opens almost every door in the building. After you and Kartana found the traitor, I thought the two of you along with your friends, deserved a little reward.

You: I don't know what to say. (What an idiot.) Thank you sir.

Michael: Glad to see you're happy about it.

You: (Oh you have no idea.)

Michael: Now, please follow me. The others are waiting for you.

You walked with Michael through some hallways, till you came across a room you didn't know about before.

Michael: Right through here.

As Michael was about to use his keycard to open the door, you rushed past him and did it yourself.

Michael: Eager are we?

You ignored him and opened the door and saw all three of your friends.

Zack: Oh, hey Y/N.

Yang: We were waiting on ya buddy.

Kartana: ...

You: (Kartana..) Hey guys. What's going on?

Zack: I'll let Michael explain that.

Michael: Thank you Zack. Anyway, I have gathered you all here to share some important information about Zack and Yang.

Kartana: Huh?

You: What's the info?

Michael: Well, starting today, Zack and Yang are in a sense, graduating.

Yang: What?! You serious?! Zack, why didn't you tell me?!

Zack: It was more surprising this way. And it worked!

Yang: This is so epic!

Kartana: (That's going to make me and Y/N's plan so much harder....)

You: (Ugh, I was hoping that our plan might convince these two to help, but I think that idea is out the window.) Good job guys!

Kartana: Y-ye-yeah, c-con-congrats!

Zack: So sir, what are me and Yang going to do?

Michael: Glad you asked. Anyway, the first thing you're going to be doing is guard duty. Even though the first guy was caught and dealt with, we don't know if he had any followers.
