Trouble at the Amusement Park

After Christmas had ended, it was still pretty cold, but you preferred to stay inside. The sound of kids playing outside reminded you of what your life was like in the past, so you shut yourself inside your room. Hoping that your thoughts would drown out the sounds of laughter and joy outside.

(Earlier)

Yang: Man, I can't remember the last time I saw a tree this big.

Kartana: Yeah, this place is really awesome.

Yang hugged the both of you tightly as you heard what sounded like a machine beeping. Yang stopped hugging you both as she took out what looked like a phone but way too futuristic.

Yang: Sorry guys, this'll be quick.

As Yang went to a spot further away, she hung up her phone and came back a little disappointed.

Kartana: What's wrong, Yang? Who was that?

You: Let me guess, Michael?

Yang: Sadly, yeah. I was originally told to spy on you guys. Specifically, you, Y/N.

You: Huh? Why me?

Yang: You're Michael's "Perfect Creation", or whatever garbage nickname he gave you. Along with whatever gift you have, Michael took an interest in. I told him I couldn't obtain any info on you guys.

Kartana: Yang, sorry for asking, but why do you still help Michael?

Yang: I know his intentions aren't the greatest. But, aside from you guys, Michael has been the only family I have. I can't just abandon someone who's been basically my father for most of my life.

Kartana: I... See...

Yang gave you guys both a very tight hug as she said goodbye to you both.

(Present Time)

Watching someone who is basically your older sister, go back with someone that kidnapped you from your original family, along with experimenting on you. Kind of ruined your entire mood.

You: Who is it?

Kartana: It's Kartana.

You: What do you want?

Kartana: To put on your jacket and come outside.

You: No.

Kartana: Come on, please?

You: Go. Away.

Kartana: You know I'm not gonna let you wallow in sadness while cooped in a cage. 

You: Why can't you just let me coop myself up in here alone?

Kartana: Because.

You: Because what?

Kartana: Just because.

You: Did you have a plan to convince me or something?

Kartana: Not really.

You: Then go away.

Kartana: Don't you wanna see all the monsters though?

You: What will it take for you to leave me alone?

Kartana: You coming to talk with everyone.

As you ignored Kartana's annoying pestering, you turned on the tv to drown out the noise. Soon enough, you switched to a channel to entertain yourself.
