A Demon in Disguise

As you and Kartana were heading home, Sans and Asriel appeared in front of the two of of you, startling you both.

Kartana: Geez guys, a warning woulda been nice.

Asriel: Sorry about that, Sans' magic is still recovering.

Sans: We're heading to the AMD facility to find some footage on the cameras to try and see why Papyrus did what he did.

Kartana: Oh! Can we help!

Asriel: Sure, the more help the better! Right Sans?

Sans: Yeah.

You: I'm not sure if we can-

Before you could finish, Sans teleported the four of you into the building. As Kartana looked amazed, you ended up feeling a little nauseous, but you quickly regained your composure.

Sans: Oh look, we actually ended up in the right place this time. Second time's the charm. Since I teleported the four of us, it'll be a while till I can do it again, so let's check these recordings while we still got the time.

As you walked over to the monitor, it seemed to have a password on it.

Kartana: Damn, how are we gonna get to those recordings now?

You pressed on a few buttons in a certain order, and surprisingly, the computer turned on.

Asriel: Woah, how did you know the code?

You: I didn't. I'm not entirely sure how I did that.

Sans: That doesn't matter, all that matters what now are those recordings.

Kartana: What exactly are we looking for?

Asriel: I have a feeling that the AMD had something to do with this whole mess. So that means it's probably all recorded, and they might be trying to hide it. 

Sans: How funny, this room doesn't have cameras.

Kartana: Why would the camera room need to have cameras Sans?

Asriel: Hey guys, come check this out. This folder has weird recordings from different places. 

Asriel selected a recording that showed Frisk using some sort of shield in the middle of the road. What surprised you though, is that it looked like it came from the red heart in front of her.

You: (Is that her heart?)

Asriel: Why would Frisk summon their shield in the middle of the street?

Sans: This other one is from the meeting day, in front of Gaster's lab.

As the recording played, it glitched a bit before showing Betty walking out of sight.

Asriel: Betty?

Sans: Wasn't she sleeping at his lab when the reunion was happening? It was all her... We have to warn the others.

Then, shocking all of you, a door opened. You turned around and saw Betty with a weird little pink ball floating by her.

Betty: I wished to be the one to reveal the big surprise... Oh well... not like it matters now. I already obtained all the information I needed.

Sans: Time to go.

A bolt of electricity was shot at Sans from behind, stopping him for teleporting.

Asriel: Sans!

Betty: You have a very special soul, Asriel. You wouldn't mind if I take it right? Akumu is very hungry after all.

Asriel: Stay back!
