With a grumble, you slowly start to awake at a light poking on your belly. Blinking the sleep out of your eyes, you slowly opened them finding steven hovering over your box. In the moon's light, you saw that he had an especially cheerful smile on his face. You gave him a questioning squeak as he suddenly reaches in and scoops you up into his arms rocking you slightly as he made his way to the stairs.
"Where we going? A secret adventure?"
Of course, he didn't understand your Corruption dialect, but he quickly put a finger upto his lips, signaling you to be silent as he made his way to the blue temple doors the older gems often used.
"I think you're going to like this." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Okay... wait here."
He set you down near the vein like pole he had slid down and wandered away looking up at the various bubbles that floated around the area. Unaware of thd child's plans in the rather hot room, you simply sat in your place, grumbling nervously as you crouched into what steven called a "loaf" position.

Why are there so many gems in so many bubbles..?

"There you are!"
You were snapped out of your thoughts at a cheery chirp sounding from somewhere above the ground level. Looking up, you were surprised to see Steven, halfway up a pole grabbing a red bubble, holding a (color) (gem) within it....
...(color) (gem)...
"Mama!" You squawked, jumping to your paws and hooves, scrambling towards the boy's direction. Upon hearing your squeak, the boy panicked as he saw you approach the lava ringed area. "W-wait a minute, don't-!" He lost his grip on the pole and fell off, not only taking your mother's gemstone, but also landing on another gem's bubble. A (color) (gem) to be precise. The boy fell forward and landed on his belly with a pained oof!
While the bubble cushioned the boy's fall, the impact popped both of them and now both gems were exposed to the humid air. As the boy rolled onto his back and sat up to collect himself, you scrambled over to him, climbing onto his belly to squeeze his face in concern. He was amused, but annoyed at the same time with this reaction. He pursed his lips into a cute pout and poked your muzzle gently. "You know, you're really lucky you're so cute, sis."
Before anything else could be said, a flash brought caught both your attention, and you both look over to see both gems rising into the air. Steven instinctively scooted back a bit while you crawled off his belly to watch as they began to take form, one shape striking you as familiar...
Both figures landed on the ground with a heavy thud as the light disappated revealing two (color) gems...
Both gems let out a roar of confusion and fury, as they staggered about, as if they were forcibly awoken from a lengthy slumber. This staggering makes them bump into each other, to which they quickly take defensive stance with a snarling grimace.
Slowly, however... They're faces softened and they both relaxed a bit.
"...(mother's gem)?"
"...(sire's gem)."
"Oh thank the stars! I thought you were a goner..."
Both gems embraced each other, purring softly as they nuzzled each other affectionately. That was until the hexapod gem made a sound similar to a gasp and jerked away from the hug.
"Our baby!" She roared, her voice shaking the enclosure. "Oh, what did they do to our-"
"Mama!"
Both heads snapped into your direction and you find yourself trembling as you locked eyes with your mother's for the first time in what felt like decades.
"(N-name)... you're..."
"Mama! Mama!" You wasted no time in running over to your long lost mother, and flung yourself into her fluffy chest fur, drinking in her sweet scent you missed so much. You felt her massive arms wrap around you, pulling you into a warm embrace. "My precious gemling... thank the stars you're safe..." you sniffled, pressing your face deeper into her chest fluff. "I missed you so much, mama..."
"Is... this our gemling..?"
You looked up at the bipedal gem in question, to which your mother nods. "Yes, my dear." She nudges your head, in which you look up at her. "Darling... that (gem) over there is your sire."
Your eyes widened slightly. My... sire...?
Your mother had told you multiple stories about your sire, from how they met to when she lost them... and now you finally got to meet them...?
You mother and sire in the same room?!
Is this a dream??!
"She's perfect, my love." You heard your sire purr as they knelt down and joined the embrace, purring at finally meeting their daughter.

From afar, steven watched with his signature starry-eyed cheek squish, beaming at the success of his family reunion.
However the cuddle session paused when your sire looked up and noticed the little boy watching them from afar. ~~~~~~~~~
