6|PRANK GONE WRONG

Small fingers slipped through the long brown locks, tying it back and out of her face. She glanced up from her seat, smiling at her mentor as she entered the infirmary.

"Miss. Potter." Madam Pomfrey greeted the girl with a large smile. "I am so happy you are going dedicated to learning medince. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask."

"Thank you." Willow beamed, excited that Professor Dumbledore had arranged for her to help Madam Pomfrey, especially during prime quidditch season.

The blue potion bubbled to life as Madam Pomfrey explained the medical properties it held and when to use it. The woman was quickly interrupted by a familiar group of Slytherin's bursting through the doors.

"Oh dear, what happened?" The school nurse quickly jumped up from her seat and helped the boys lay down their friend on a bed.

"A prank backfired." Lucius Malfoy informed her, stepping back to let the professional heal the boy.

Willow placed her glasses on the table in front of her, distracted away from her potion as she peaked at who the boys had brought in.

"Severus?" She gasped, scrambling out her chair to race to the boys side. "Holy shit." Her expression dropped as she turned to face Lucius, eyes dark and unreadable. "Who did this?"

"Who do you think?" Lucius scoffed at her before nodding to Madam Pomfrey and leaving the infirmary with his friends.

"Miss. Potter." Willows head snapped over to the nurse, reluctantly taking her eyes off the boy. "I need you to grab a potion for pain, one for blood clotting and a final one to reduce bruising."

"On it." She nodded in understanding, running over to the potions cabinet and grabbing the ones that Madam Pomfrey had requested.

She measured out the correct dosages, quick tipping each potion into his mouth. Willow sat back, sighing as she watched Madam Pomfrey tightly wrap bandages around his chest.

Once Willow was excused for the day, she checked up on Severus one last time. He was still unconscious but his bruises had faded and his breathing was less shallow. A sigh slipped past her lips as she wandered through the halls towards the Grythindor tower.

"How was your first day?" Remus glanced up from his book as Willow entered their dorm.

"It was very educational until Severus Snape was brought in unconscious from an apparent prank backfiring." She informed him, glancing at her brother acquisingly.

"Why do you even care, Wils?" James scoffed, folding his arms across his chest.

"Because he is my friend, James." Willow argued back. "I'm all for pranks but to send someone to the infirmary? That's too far."

"He called Lily a mudblood." Her brother raised his voice at her. Her body stilled, shocked at his response.

"I know." She stated monotonously, narrowing her green eyes at him. "He told me. I already gave him a mouthful and he was on his way to apologise to her. That was until you brainless wankers stopped him and pushed him down three flights of stairs. Which are made out of stone."

"She's right, Prongs." Remus chimed in, putting his book down to the side. "Even I admit that sending someone like Snivellus to the infirmary was too far."

"Shit, now I feel like a wanker." James groaned with frustration, sighing as he realised his sister was right.

"We didn't mean for him to fall down the stairs." Sirius added, defending James immediately. "That was Malfoys' fault."

"He's right." Peter nodded along causing Willow to smile at each of the boys, her frightening anger simmering down.

"I don't expect you boys to apologise to him but if I ever find out that you four have sent Snape to the infirmary again with horrible wounds." Willow paused, shooting a glare to each of the maurderers. "I will hang each of you from the astronomy tower by your dicks."

"If you wanted to see my dick so much, Queenie, you should have just asked." Sirius teased her, wrapping his arms around her waist from behind, nuzzling his head into her neck.

"I might just take you up on that offer, Pads." She played along with his flirtatious comments. "The summer holidays are almost here, maybe you can sleep in my room instead of James's."

"Maybe I will."

"No you won't." James grabbed his friend by the back of his shirt, dragging him off his sister and throwing him back on his bed.

On the first day of the maurderers meeting James's twin sister he made a simple rule: no one can date her. The boys all followed the rule easily except Sirius who would purposely flirt with her in front of James.

Willow took this as a challenge, teasing her brother by flirting along with his best friend. Sirius moving into their family home during holidays made annoying James easier.
