Wings

The scream was so powerful I think the whole world heard it. It rang threw my ears and ran threw my blood. My body was in shock for a while but then I felt a wet liquid on my shirt. I pulled away to look at my it. It was covered in blood. The red liquid was also running down Eros's shirt starting were his heart is located. His wings were surrounding me like a cocoon. I scanned his body for any other marks. Then I turned my head back to where his heart is located. The red liquid still flowing from where his heart is. Next before I realize it a clear liquid is flowing from both of my eyes.

"Don't look at it just keep your eyes on mine," Eros says strained and out of breath. His arms however are still rapped around me.

"It's going to be okay. You're going to be okay," I say while sobbing and my voice cracking. I don't know what to do.

"No darling, he isn't going to be okay," Medusa
says from a distance away from us.

"Just keep looking at me and don't look at her please," Eros says while I stare into his brown eyes.

"He isn't going to be okay because no one can survive a gun shot straight to the heart," she says with a laugh. I try to turn my head but Eros puts his hand under my chin to keep me from turning.

All of a sudden Eros drops to the floor with his wings spread out. I fall on my knees by his side as he lays limp on the floor.

"Eros," I say as I try to get him to look at me but if doesn't work. "Please, Eros look at me!," I feel more tears running down my face. Eros then breaths in one last breath as I can feel his heart beat slow down.

"I love you...," he manages to say before his head falls to the ground and I look at his lifeless body in shock.

"Oh darling don't be so upset he was going to die someday, it might as well be today," she said in a cocky tone.

I was so angry that my tears were evaporating off of my skin. My ears were smoking and I was giving Medusa the most intense glare in history. Then a sharp pain shot through my back like my skin was ripping and I found my body was bent down on all fours.

"How is it possible?!" Medusa said as she started to take a few steps back. I didn't have control over my body I just went by instinct so I got off the floor and yelled at her.

"I am Psyche angel of light and I banish you to a place where no one will ever find you and if they do they will kill you," I yelled with force then rose my hand. "Pleaca," I spat and a light from my hand shot at her as she ducked but didn't get away. When the beam of light hit her she disappeared into then air and all that was left was smoke.

After she was gone I fell to the floor and heard footsteps down the hall coming closer.

"What the hell?!", I heard from behind me but all I could focus on was the person I loved most in the world lie dead on the ground.

"I don't think this red stuff on the ground is Kool-aid?", I heard a different voice say and I knew who it was, Percy. After, he had said this I heard a smacking noise which meant the other person that was with him was Arthur.

I held Eros's hand to try to hold on a little longer and put my head on his stomach in hopes of a heart beat. There was none...

To the corner of my eye I saw Percy's eyes water and tears fall from both sides of his face and I knew his humor had been silenced as he looked at Eros. Arthur had a blank stare as he looked at me in the eyes. He slowly get down on one knee next to Eros and put his head angled down. Percy saw this and did the same. The room was silent for a moment as I looked at Eros's face, his lips. I knew it was for fetched put I was living a fairy tale. In all the story's I have read true love's kiss can repair anyone that has been lost or broken. I looked at him with hopeful eyes as I leaned in and closed my eyes. Our lips touched for a moment and they where cold and lifeless but then a second later warmed. I felt a hand touch my back. I pulled away and saw Eros's eyes flutter open and look back at me.

"You gave me true loves kiss...I don't even have the power to make someone love so much that they save a life with one kiss.", he said with his eyes drifting to his hand I turned my eyes to his hand that was on the small of my back. My eyes glanced up at large white wings on my back. "Your an angel but your my angel," he said with a smile on his face. I smiled back at him as he sat up and let his black wings fan out.

"I love you," I said to him.

"I love you too," he said to me.

"Oh my god your alive!," I heard then saw Percy jump on him. "God I thought you were dead don't ever scare us like that again," he said while hugging him to death.

"Okay Perc can you get off of me now," Eros said hugging Percy back. I turned and looked at Arthur and saw him walking over and holding out his hand to shake with Eros.

"Don't ever do that again because if you do and you survive I'm going to kill you myself," he said while pulling Eros up. Arthur clicked the top of his sword and it turned into a pen. Eros's wings disappeared as did mine. The alarm went off so that classrooms could be let out. The crowds flooded the halls but no one seemed to notice us.

"Well at least schools over now," Eros said smiling at me. We all laughed at each other for a moment as I hugged Eros and didn't want to let him go.
