Pained Scream

We all put our desk down and hide behind it as the teacher locks the door. After the door is locked she goes to her desk and gets under it. I'm a little worried about what is going on. I'm scared out of my skin when I hear another shot. Bang! The one day Eros isn't at school. Ugh! I am just hiding behind my desk in a ball so no one can see me. I also see that there is gum on the bottom of the desk. Yuck! Why do people do that anyway?

Okay, but back to the shooting situation at hand. I hear footsteps moving down the hallway like the person is wearing big boots. How can boots make more noise than girls heels? That is just a question I've always wondered about. I'm always thinking about the weirdest things at the wrong moments. The noise gets closer.

"Psyche, darling where are you", I hear a smooth voice say. "If you don't come out I will hurt the boy that you love so much the way he hurt me", the voice says and the kids that are under the desk turn their heads to face me. I am in shock who would be at the school with a gun looking for me. "I can smell and hear you breathing", the voice says again.

I won't let anyone else get hurt . If this person is looking for me then they are going to get me. I get up from my spot behind the desk and walk to the door. I can feel everyone's eyes on me as I twist the door nob so I can get out of the room and for some reason I'm not scared.

I walk out of the classroom without anyone trying to stop me even though I thought the teachers were suppose to keep the students from doing stupid stuff. I have a bunch of thoughts running threw my mind at one time. What could have Eros done? I wish he was hear.

I walk out of the room in to the hallway where I see a women standing there with a gun at her side. She also has sunglasses on even though she is inside and a scarf over her head but, she doesn't look like she has cancer.

"Ahhh, there you are sweet and innocent, Psyche", she says as she walks slow. She isn't moving in a straight line neither, it's almost...... snake like.

"Okay, since you know my name I think it's only right that I know your", I say to her. Woah! Were did that come from and also when do I talk to crazy people with a gun? I turn to look at the dor and hear a click. Someone locked it, well there is no turning back now.

"I will be glad to tell you my name darling, just let me take off my glasses", she says. She then lifts her hands up to take them off. I didn't notice this before but she is wearing gloves over them. I hear a crash come from down the hall and I immediately turn that way. I see Eros come in the hall running with a cut on his forehead and his shirt ripped.

"Psyche don't look in to her eyes it's Medusa", he says as he runs to me and covers my face in to his chest.

"Why did you have to ruin my plan Cupid? Oh, well I still have my gun lets see how you handle a shot. I want to hear you scream.", Medusa says. Next, I hear another shot and a piercing scream that will ring in my ears till the day I die, which might be today.
