Security System

When I get home I see my mom packing her bags in a hurry. The boys just dropped me off because Arthur still had to bring Percy home.

"Hey mom, what are you doing" I ask as she runs around the house packing luggage.

"Oh honey I am so glad you are home, were did you go last night" she says while stopping what she is doing.

"Ummm.... I slept over at Arthur's house" I say.

"Oh you slept over there after the party" she said while turning back to pack. What party?

"Ya.....so why are you packing" I ask as I mess with my hands.

"Someone asked me to go to Africa to help some elephants, they said they have a really bad sickness" she says. Oh, I forgot to mention my mom is a vet. Cool right? Not.

"So you are going to stay home alone but I have Ms. Sarah watching you, okay honey" she says then grabs her plane ticket.

"You have to leave right now" I ask her as she puts her plane tickets in her purse.

"Yes, I'm so sorry it is so last minute but they really need my help. They are offering me 5k if I do this. Okay I love you so much" she says then kisses me and hugs me then walks out the door.

Well that was nice. I then walk upstairs I get on my computer and log on to Instagram I look at Heathers account so I can make fun of her stupid party. I look in the comments of one picture she posted. "What's it like to have one person drown and another person have a heart attack at your party" one of the comments said. I remember Percy saying something about me drowning. My heart starts to race like crazy with thoughts. Then my laptop is closed and Eros is standing in front of me while I'm on my bed. I jump from the laptop being closed.

"EROS!!! How did you get in here" I say after my heart speed slows down. His shoulders relax a little.

"I climbed out my window then grabbed a tree branch and swung into your window" he then shrugged and sat on my bed with me.

"You do know we have a security system, right" I ask him. He looks at me weird then smiles.

"I know speaking of witch when are you going to turn them on" he asked me.

"I don't know maybe later" I say lifting up the laptop screen. Eros slams it shut AGAIN!! I give him a glare.

"You wouldn't want your heart rate speeding up when you had a heart attack in the hospital, now would you" he says taking the laptop from me and putting it on my desk. How does he know I had a heart attack at the hospital?

"Eros were you at the party" I ask him. He turns around to face me.

"I can't tell you anything about that, and neither can the rest of the school" he says then shrugs. Why can't I get answers?

"Okay well I'm going to go to bed so you need to go" I lift up the covers and cover my head with the blanket. Eros then jumps out the window. I jump out of bed and go to the window. Eros swings from a branch on the big tree between our property's in to his window. He turns around and looks at me.

"We're you worried about me falling are did you want to see me flex to get into my room" he then smirks a sideways smirk. I give a "are you kidding me" look.

"Goodnight Eros" I say as I step away from the window and set the security system. I then get in bed and go to sleep.

I am woken up by my window shattering in to a million pieces as a rock flys in my room activating the security system.

CAN I GET A BREAK!?!??!?
