Cupids mistakes

The party

Today is Friday and I'm getting ready for Heathers birthday party. I put on a bathing suit then a shirt and shorts with flip flops.

"We're you going" I turn and look out my window. I groan its Eros.

"Why do you care?" I say giving him a glare.

"Because we are both probably going to the same place" he snickers a little.

"Ya. Ya, I don't have time for you" I said then grabbed my bag and walked out the door of my room. When I walked downstairs I got a text from Arthur.

From Arthur: waiting outside for you x

To Arthur: K walking outside right now

I walk outside to see him in his car smiling at me. I get in the car and we drive to the party. It is dark outside right now but Arthur seems fully awake. We get to Heathers house and it is HUGE!!! The lawn is covered in flowers and the big mansion is white with gold designs. Arthur parks at the house in the front. I open my door to get out but Arthur beats me to it. I look at him weird and he smirks.

"It's my job to open the door for the lady" he informs me. My cheeks get a little hot. We walk into the huge mansion and into the backyard. My jaw drops there is neon lights in the big pool, lights hanging from trees, lots of people from school, and two humungous stair cases leading to the pool from the top level. I looked at Arthur a smiled.

"Race ya" I said running to the pool.

"Hey, that's cheating he says running after me. I scream and laugh at the same time. I hit something hard on my way to a chair to put my stuff down.

"Hey, Psyche I didn't know you were coming to the party" Percy says as he steps away from me.

"Sorry I ran into you Percy" I say really quick.

"No problem" he says. Then I feel to strong arms rap around my waste and lift me up.

"Sorry Percy but I can handle this" Arthur says to Percy. Percy then nods and laughs.

"Percy help me!!!" I scream and grab Percy's hand when Arthur puts me on his shoulder. Percy starts to laugh harder and let's go of my hand.

"Percy!!!" I scream. Then Arthur starts to run to the chair I was going to in the first place.

"Put me down" banging on his back.

"Okay, fine" he says laughing. Next I feel my body hit the chair. I sit down in relief on the chair. Arthur takes off his shirt and stands next to me.

"Are you coming in the water or naw" he says to me.

"Naw I can't swim" I say sheepishly.

"Okay that is fine if you want to come in the water with me later you can" and with that he ran off.

"Whoo hoo" he says as he canon balls into the huge pool. I silently laugh to myself. Then I see Heather walk up to me.

"Hey, glad you could make it we have a big surprise at the end of the night so stick around" she says sarcastically with an evil grin then walks away. I'm a little scared but I shake it off and watch Arthur play in the pool as I laugh.
