The Woman Out of Reality (Steve Rodgers x Reader)

⍟ Chapter 8 ⍟

In the last one month, you have been busy. You went to the Oval Office and did a rehearsal. Nothing you haven't done before. You and Steve are picking up your mom. Tony being Tony had a car ready for him and Pepper. So you both didn't have to worry about them. You sort of slaved away in the kitchen for three hours making food for your mom, brother, and Pepper.  You didn't care about Tony. Just kidding you did you make food for him.

You guys are coming up on the terminal. You see your mom you started to tear up. You missed your mother so much. You can't talk to her about your new job that much. Nothing exciting is happening in your life so you both had nothing to talk about. But you always text her saying that you love her. As soon as the car stopped. You ran out of it. You hugged your mom "Mom I missed you so much," You said in Romanian. "I missed you my fiica." She said kissing your forehead. You looked at your brother "So you saving the president now. Badass." He said with a proud smile. "Language." Your mother said. "Mom really. Your daughter kills people for a living and you talking about my Language." He said way too loud. "Sebastian Stan keep your mouth shut before I kick your ass." Your mother laughed while putting her and Seb's luggage in the trunk. "Good to see you, Steve." Your mother hugged Steve. He helped her.

Seb was about to complain but then two of you guys' supporters came up to you both. "Hi Y/N and Sebastian Stan can I have a picture with you guys. You guys don't have to." You both smiled "No it's okay. We would love to." Seb said gently.  "What pose do you guy want to do?" You asked them. They told you. You got Steve to take the picture. You felt someone behind you guys. You turned around it was Tony photo booming the picture. The girls squealed "The photo just got better." assuring you both. You smiled. The girls left. You hugged Tony. "Hey bro." You greeted. "I thought-" You shut Seb up. "You know damn well" 

You saw Pepper. You hugged her "Hi, Pep how are you doing." She smiled "Still shaken up a but overall I'm doing great. Tony is still a pain in the ass." You laughed "Oh that's good I know he just photobombs our picture." You walked Pepper to your mom and Seb. "Mom. Seb. This is Pepper Potts." Your mother smiled and hugged her. Seb hugged her "How did she get a cool friend." You looked at Seb and glowed your eyes. He cleared his throat and went to the car.

You guys got to your apartment "Mom, Tony, Pep. Welcome to our home." The first thing that came out of Tony's "It's small" you slapped him in the back of his head hard. "Tiny I have a weapons room in here. I can put it to use right now. Your dick is small." Everyone just laughed even your mother joined in she couldn't help it. "True," Pepper added. You laughed so hard you had tears in your eyes. You haven't laughed like that in a long time. 

Tony looked embarrassed and disappointed "Pepper you're my fiance you're supposed to be on my side." You all stopped laughing. "Did you just say you're engaged?" Pepper nodded "He asked me a week after the thing happened." You looked offended "So you didn't think to tell your only sister." He rolled his eyes "I was trying to tell you but you were busy" You closed your eyes and cursed to yourself "Sorry." He kissed your temple "It's fine. I smell food."You lit up remembering "I made us some Romanian food." Your mother smiled "It smells like my recipes." she said. You nodded "All of it is. I spent three lovely hours on this." 

You got the table set up. Everyone helped you. You got some wine and poured it. Your mom put the food on the table.

Your mother said in the middle of dinner "I just want to say I am so proud of my daughter. Sure she has done some bad things for her survival. Now she is working trying to help people. Now she is getting the Presidential Medal of Freedom." You smiled "Thank you, mom." Then Seb stood up "I would also like to add my sister is a badass. Another thing it makes me feel safe knowing she is out there protecting me." You squinted "Why did you stand up?" He shrugged "I don't know I was feeling dramatic." You smiled and shook your head "What a Leo." He squinted "You're a Leo too." You rolled your eyes "Whatever."
